Lawmaker's son indicted in Palin e-mail hacking
By DOUGLASS K. DANIEL, Associated Press Writer 6 minutes ago
WASHINGTON - A federal grand jury has indicted the son of a Democratic Tennessee state lawmaker in connection with the hacking of the e-mail account of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
David Kernell, 20, of Knoxville, Tenn., the son of state Rep. Mike Kernell, was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday before U.S. Magistrate Judge C. Clifford Shirley, according to a statement from the Justice Department.
David Kernell was indicted Tuesday by a federal grand jury in Knoxville for intentionally accessing without authorization the e-mail account of Palin, Alaska's governor, the Justice Department said.

It is a shame computer hackers have to do what Palin should have been more than willing to do herself. I wonder what it is she and the Rep. camp are so afraid of letting get out before the election?

You seem a little clueless to the whole story yourself. Haven't you been following it? Hackers didn't find anything incriminating, that's the story, no dirt found. So it was back to trying to GeorgeBushize her and try to make people think she is dumb because she is a woman.
btw what are you saying Palin should have been willing to to herself??

I agree that everyone has the right to their privacy. The hacker should be tried and justice served. The only point I was making is that perhaps a hacker would not have tried to do what he/she did if Palin would be honest and upfront about all this scandal she is being alledged of.
I bet we find it all out after the election and she goes back to Alaska. Then we will all be saying "How could they keep that stuff secret??! We deserve to know!"

Actually, if she goes back to Alaska, I am willing to bet the manufatured 'scandal' simply fades away because it is no longer in the Democrats interest to create it.

What is insane is your implying that I have "justified" the crime.
Do you not find it the least bit fishy that Palin and the campaign are refusing to allow reporters or investigations into Trooper Gate?

The DNC and their arm in the media sent in a boatload of dirt diggers and so far have come up empty. As many people as she has exposed and defeated along the way if there was something there it would have already come out.

You said the hackers 'had to do' what they did; that's justification.
And considering we are all here discussing the presumed 'Trooper Gate', I have a hard time understanding how anyone could say it is hidden or isn't being investigated.

The scandal was manufactured by democrats? Really? I bet Obama fired her ex-brother-in-law, right? I'm sure it is some big conspiracy. That is why the Republican party has put a stop to any further investigation until after the election.
