Heavenly Father
Thank You that all who have placed their faith in You and trust in the atoning blood of Jesus
can know today that they are truly 'accepted in the beloved'.
Thank You that even though there may be times when we fail to follow Your Word -
if we confess our sin and are truly repentant then You promise to forgive us our sin
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness;
Thank You that You never abandon us in our sin or give up on us when we fail You and although we
may endure Your chastening for a time - we will never lose our acceptance in You;
Thank You that nothing shall seperate us from Your love and although others may accuse us
and even reject us - You will never leave us or forsake us.
We thank You that you accept of us not by what we have done but by what Jesus did
for us at Calvary and we praise You that it is by grace we are saved by faith and not by trying
to be good in our own strength.
Help us to grasp a hold of this great acceptance and to love and accept others with the same love and
acceptance as You have shown to us;
Thank You for Jesus and thank You that all those who know Jesus as their Saviour are truly accepted in the beloved.
