Just curious as to how many times one group can change people. Seems to me this group has changed more than any other group in the history of SGM. I hated to see Robbie Norwood leave, but totally understand why. Now I hear they have a new bass & new baritone singer and that Brian is back on keyboard....................................Tim Bullins is a great guy {owner of the group}, and I hope they get things together for good soon.

As is the case with a majority of personnel changes that occur in Southern Gospel music; finances.

Ms. Judy, The Anchormen used to be my second favorite group back when Steve Ladd was with them...close to 1st. I have not heard the complete current line-up, but I haven't been impressed with the past lineups since the whole regrouping. Hopefully they will get that "click" that they've been missing. Karl is a great tenor and Keith is a great lead with a lot of range. We all know that Brian is one of the best piano players out there right now. Hopefully the new guys can "bring it" too and get the Anchormen back on track.

Yeah this group may be the all time leader for changes and still be on the road. The lineup they had with Steve Ladd and Jeff Chapman was by far the best. Its good to see Brian back but this line up is really more of a local group. They are really nice guys but not as talented as most full time groups. Tim is a great guy and I would like to see them at the top again. Maybe after a few more changes. lol.

I don't know what he is doing now. Hopefully we will hear him singing with someone again soon.

Good, because I didn't want to know why he was "let go." Just wondering if he's singing at all, moved back home, or what...

I will say this, Karl and Keith are awesome, as is their new bass singer, Paul Harkey. Right now Lance Jeffrey is filling in at baritone, and of course Bryan is awesome at piano... I saw them last weekend, they sounded great! THe new guys are really nice, too!

ORIGINAL: MsJudy Who said Robbie was "let go"? Guess I'll have to call him tomorrow and see what is up. Why is that necessary? Isn't that kind of personal.

Sorry, don't jump me, I was only asking a question to what dbmurray posted. I never saw the post regarding that. I do think it is personal. He is my friend and lives very close to me, that is why I said I would call him. Now I see a quote by Santa that I never saw on here before! I think this thread should be closed and deleted. Sorry I started it. I never realized it was going to cause a stink. I was only curious about the guys. I also think Tim Bullins is a very nice guy and do feel he will have things back on track very very soon. I am going to try and delete me other post. quote:

Don't worry Judy, there was a post about him being let go. Looks like it was edited before you posted. Don't worry abt it, someone just thought better of what they said :-) No harm in that, eh?

Thanks Lissa. I just talked to Robbie and he IS happy! He's back at his old job and doing great. He will most likely be at NQC. That is all I'm at liberty to say.

HigherNote4U edited their post after I made mine...so mine now makes no sense. Thanks for the info on Robbie. He's a talented young guy with a great personality.

Sorry, Yes I edited my post last night after talking Santa and reading other posts. I didn't feel I needed to go there so I edited one and deleted the other. Sometimes I type before I think. quote:
