Lord, thanks so much my husband, teen son, and the others can backpack this whole week in the magnificence of Your creation. I pray not only that You'll keep them safe (at 10,000 feet and among bears and such) but most especially that this will be a time of significant deepening with You in fellowship with one another. I pray the three godly men will be much encouraging to the three becoming-godly teen boys. How perfect You are in the way You mix and match events such that Your children can learn from one another as they seek You together. Amen.

Father, Thank you for this immense blessing to be in your creation, away from human made "things". What a wonderful opportunity. Help them to commune with you and recognize your goodness. We ask for your protection and ask that they enjoy you throughout this adventure. It is in the name of Jesus Christ that we pray for them and praise you. Amen.
