Now isn't this one of the best movies ever made? Its been making the rounds again on TV and cable lately. It was just on again here on one of the PBS affiliates believe it or not!

I always thought it was fun how the movie parallels between the real world of being a grown up and being a little kid as well.

perhaps my favorite line in the movie was when Josh gets his first paycheck and when asked how he wants it? He talks with his best buddy, and decides that he wants 3 dimes, $100 dolllar bill and 87 ones!

I love that movie!

I think my favorite scene is when he is at the party in that awful tux and eats the caviar

And in the toy store.

And when he takes her to his loft and she ends up jumping on the trampoline.

Yes, those were all classic scenes! Also, how about when he is in limo playing with everything in there as well? Then goes out on the sun roof also?

I liked the scene where he was trying to explain what had happened to him, and she was taking everything he said as some stupid cliched excuse for why he couldn't commit

Really cool flick. I like the party scene, too, with the *hip* tux and his eating the baby corn like it was a big piece. Also the toy store with the duet of Chopsticks on the floor keyboard, that was nifty.

I do not know if they still have it, however that was right at FAO Shwartz in NYC.

The big keyboard is still there, but they've moved it upstairs and yes, you can buy one for your house.

I wonder how much they cost? Of course I'd have to have a house that was big enough to hold one of those!

One of my all time favorites.
They came out with a play a few years ago and my niece's theater group did the play and as much as I love my niece...the play stunk really big.

Saw this on our local PBS station last night! It was good to see it again! I had thought about watching it with the kids, but it has a few things that I'd say need to wait until they're a little older. One interesting thing about this broadcast - they bleeped out the F word & a**hole & a few other swear words, but did NOT bleep out taking the Lord's name in vain (GD was in there several times). This made me shake my head . Guess GD is now a "lesser" swear? Anyway, still enjoyed watching it again!

Yeah, well the other words they can be fined on, but not on using the Lord's name in vain at all.

So sad isn't it!!?!! I was discussing this with some friends last night & someone said we'd be called intolerant if we wanted to get taking the Lord's name in vain put on the same status with those other words! Probably true!
