I saw an advertisement for CBS evening news with Katie Couric. It talked about how the world we live in is complicated and crazy and so in order to understand it we need CBS News and Katie Couric to explain it to us. Whatever happened to the news just reporting the facts?....

....I think I will stick with Jesus as the One who gives the meaning to the facts. I think I will keep Him as the light of the world and not switch to the news networks.

God bless all abundantly,

Oh you're just ignorant -- like me.

Unfortunately that ship has sailed far far away.

Its marketing spin, pay it no mind.

CBS paid millions to Mrs. Couric and their evening news is tanking so they are desperate. Hence the pretenious ad.

I feel sorry for Couric. She's taking the blame but really its the execs at CBS that thought putting a morning show person on the evening news was a good idea who are at fault.

With the internet and 24 hour news chanels the network evening news may become a thing of the past anyway.
