Heavenly Father
Thank You for Your Word which gives clear guidance regarding
how You wish us to live our lives pleasing to You.
Lead us in paths of righteousness for Your Name’s sake and
Help us to choose our friends prayerfully and carefully;
Father so often we miss blessings because we choose wrong company,
and in so doing we become entangled in the affairs the world through our own foolish talk and poor choices;
Please forgive us when we have fallen short concerning the type of company You wish us to keep;
Give us Your strength so that we will not fear man which can entangle us in an ugly snare!
Help us to listen to Your voice above all others so that we will not grieve Your Holy Spirit;
May we never miss out on Your blessings because of foolish disobedience;
And may our faith grow like trees which flourish beside the banks of rivers
So we may bare much fruit for Your glory.
AMEN
