This is a request for continuing prayer for all Pastors.

Church Pastors can help or hurt members.

As an Associate Pastor, I have only a glimpse of what a Pastor experiences. Before I was ordained, I told our Pastor about how I suffer from the sufferings and problems of other people. He promptly assured me that I would not have to deal with problems but can and should refer any problems to him. Whew! Am I glad of that!

Church Pastors have to deal with issues that few members or even church leaders realize.
Their job can be so demanding that I sometimes think that there is no way one can accurately put it in a written job description.
Their decisions, actions and words can be highly disturbing to some while being very helpful to others. It is the Pastor who takes the “heat” when things don't go the way some members think they should. They face grave problems of just about every description—the sick, the mentally disturbed, the emotionally scarred, the walking wounded, the damaged marriages, the injured, the financially impaired and on and on the list goes.

They need the mind, wisdom and strength of Jesus Christ in a very big way.

Father,
Please guide all Church Pastors.
Guide their decisions and their sermons.
Give them a special dose of Your love.
Give them wisdom that is based on Your love.
Give them clarity of thought.
Give them energy.
Give them insight.
Give them understanding of Your Word, the Bible.
Bless their explanations of the Bible.
Bless their sermons.
Bless their counseling sessions.
Bless their relationships with leaders of their congregations.
Bless their prayers.
Use them as instruments in Your hands in ways that we don't think to ask so that they will be wonderful shepherds of Your flock, the Church.
Thank You for those whom You have called to be Pastors.
We praise You for those Pastors who yield to You.
We pray for them in the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Father God, i humbly pray that you would seriously convict and remove all church leaders who haven't thoroughly and completely studied Your Holy Word and whose personal lives aren't based on You and their total faith in You. Father, i believe that if the leaders of Your Church can't lead by example and instruct from first hand wisdom of how to apply faith to life, then they are the blind leading the blind. as peaceofGod says, Father, "Church Pastors can help or hurt" and there are so many of the saved who would love to be led past a dysfunctional level of life. please help us Father. In Jesus' name, Amen!

Dear Lord, I pray right now that you continue to help all of these Pastor's. I pray that you help them do their job thoroughly and correctly. If there are any Pastor's that are doing something wrong then I pray that you, God, can correct this, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Father I stand in agreement with this prayer, in addition I pray for physical and mental health and strength to deal with the challenges. I also pray for the pastors wives who also labor in the ministry that you would uphold them with the long irregular hours, the stress, and other stuff that comes with being a ministers wife.

I pray you would give them wisdom in their own lives, integrity, and farsightedness in leadership of their flocks. I thank you for the example of the one who was my own father. In Jesus precious name we pray.

Yes Pastors are on the frontline of attack because what they do affects so many. Lord annoint, cover and protect physically, mentally, and spiritally all Pastors everywhere. Fill them with your deep peace and satisfaction that they're in the center of your will. Cover all of them with your love so completely and fully that it will pour out of them to others. Replenish the burnt out and discouraged souls who are Pastors too. Deliver them from oppression from the enemy. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

Father as pastors prepare to preach tomorrow, speak to they're hearts, that it may not be they're words that we hear, but Your words.

We ask in Jesus' name that you use the sermons of this weekend to give to each specific person of each congregation exactly what you want them to hear. Please use these sermons to help them. Thank you for being there for us and for all that you will do.

Please refresh those Pastors who are becoming burnt out.
Help so that the fire within them will again burn brightly.
Refresh them and use them in even better ways than you have in their past.
Help them in ways that you know to be best for them.
Thank you for being there for them and for all that you will do for and through them
We pray for them in the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen
