Hello I am posting this to get other peopels veiws on anti-depressants . I am seperated from my husband and having a rough time of it ..the counselor I have been seeing recommended anti- depressants. I have never been big on medications , don't get me wrong if my kids sick get what they need to get better but I hardly ever take tylenol let alone a mood altering drug. My husband says he would normally agree in not taking them but thinks I must need something to get my seratonin levels normal or something ..I blame it on being pregnant and I'm sure that on top of the seperation is most of my issue but it is possible that they are right . I guess I just wanted to get other veiws on anti- depressants do they work , I already told the counselor ir would have to wait til I had the baby in 3 months because I did read it can cause a slight jitteriness or shakes afeter they are born and I wont do that . But after....still praying and searching about it looking for your thoughts
