Depends on what you mean by pressure. I work best when I'm under deadline, but not when I'm loaded down with work.

I put no, but I probably should've voted "other." Pressure can, and usually does, trigger my panic attacks and bipolar. Not a good thing.

I checked work best under pressure...because if I could not work under pressure, I'm in the wrong job. Everyday is high pressure/stress as in many different things happening and a wide variety of tasks to be finished on short deadlines. On the other hand, if by "pressure" you mean a boss looming over me with a whip to get me to work faster or (as is currently the case) a coworker always hanging around telling me that I'm doing things wrong, undoing things I've done, or starting a discussion over something related to the job but not currently applicable keeping me from being able to work (and won't stop unless I am totally rude), then no, I don't work at all well in those circumstances. Give me a job and a deadline, and I can/will get it done.

However, I am a self-starter and can set goals and deadlines for myself and meet them. Deadlines or goals help me to focus.

Having been a firefighter before my current career, I'll say that I've had my share of working under pressure. However, I don't think that makes me work better... I have just learned to prioritize more effectively.

Do I work better under pressure? No. Do I work better when I am aware of deadlines for things, yes.

No, no way!

When I was younger, I wouldn't mind. Now that I am older and wiser I would always say No to pressure or stress. My life is MORE important than work and anything else.

I wish I had a mentor or someone wise in my life when I was younger. Sadly, I did not have any role model. But at least I learned my lesson the hard way.

I guess for me it depends. Sometimes I do really well under pressure. But I do much better with structure. My last job was very structured and I LOVED it. I felt so productive. But there's very little structure in this job (well, not like I'm used to) and a lot of stress... I don't like that.

Some days I work better under pressure and other days not so well. I guess it depends on whether the pressure is a deadline or someone else's frustration.

A deadline I can handle, but someone else's frustration can be rough. Usually their frustration is a result of waiting on someone's input or a budget issue, and occasionally that frustration can rub off on me without my being aware of it at first.

I like the pressure, I also work better when I am angry, go figure. But no I don't mind pressure at all, deadlines, excessive amounts of work. That doesn't mean I want that every day though

I guess I do. It keeps me motivated, but I crack under stress as well. I struggle with anxiety attacks and I had them frequently my first semester in college. But overall, I received an 89 in my English class (which I was under pressure) because it just kept me motivated.
