no. I consider them the same as my doctor. I don't tip my doctor either.

It is a breach of ethics for a medical professional to accept gratuities.

GRACIOUS! I kept books for a chiropractor about 15 years ago. She made huge sums of money every day. I don't go to a chiropractor, but I would never consider tipping any medical person. Give them a small gift or plate of goodies at the holidays, but no tips. Figure it out for yourself. Doctor charges for the adjustment, the electric pads, the heat pads, nutrition counseling, etc. U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics: The middle 50 percent earned between $46,710 and $118,280 a year.

HAHA!!!! No, but I'll pass that idea along to my boss. He'll find it amusing. But for as little as insurance pays him, and for as much as he gives away in services, he deserves a tip.

I can't resist it... and it could be a thread all it's own... tips for chiropractors 1. Warm those hands up next time! 2. Don't apply the adjustment on count 4, make it on 2 while I'm waiting for three. 3. Next time it hurts that bad, look out. 4. Don't smile, it make you appear you enjoy such torture. tips for doctors 1. The faster you move, the more patients you see, the less time I have to wait in your waiting room, the happier this will be. 2. Warm up that stethyscope! 3. I bill my time too, so waiting in an exam room is on my bill. 4. You bill me if a no-show? How about an hour with no-show you for an appointment? Want the favor returned? tips for dentists/dental hygenists 1. When I grab the implement and throw it across the room, well, that's when it really hurts. 2. I like it when my headrest isn't stabbing me between my shoulder blades. 3. Do not have the exam room TV tuned to something showing pain before getting to work. 4. Remember, most people don't walk around every day with their mouth wide open, slobbering, for 20 minutes or so, and so keeping the mouth open that long is a chore all in itself.
