I am working as a software engineer in India..

Trying to come to US...

My roommate did it through a student visa.

Considered grad school in the US? Many of my coworkers came to the US for grad school, extended their visa through the one-year work-study program that the government allows, and managed to get H1B visas that way. If you have a graduate degree, it's a bit easier to get a visa.

I am a grad n have applied for H1 processing thro' a company..

The company is small...

Expecting grace from God for a smooth processing...
