Okay so we have all been over to the He/She says thread. Well, I've seen alot of you there anyway.

We are going to run them together on the same thread.

Guys ask a question and the Gals answer.

Gals ask a question and the Guys answer.

You can only answer the questions from the opposite sex.

This should be fun! Get your questions ready! Go!

Okay, guys: I know none of you would ever do it, but whatever would possess a man to think there is any sense (or attractiveness) whatsoever in placing a part two millimeters above his one ear and combing six strands of hair all the way to the other side of his head?

Why will a perfectly intelligent man, act like they can't do something, just to get out of doing it.
(Example: Honey where does this go? When emptying the dishwasher) Like we would believe they were incapable.

Hey, this looks like a fun thread!

Some friends of mine, a married couple, are each other's best friend! They seem to go everywhere together and do everything together, though they do have separate interests and activities, too. They own a business, go to church, sing in the choir, and much more. They never seem to have a disagreement and neither tells the other what to do. There seems to be very little conflict, and I've known them for many years. If asked, she will explain that she's being supportive, and he basially says the same thing.

My question is, guys, how would it make you feel to be in this kind of relationship?

pam - can't help you with the hair question, i need to have mine thinned out when i go for my hair cuts :)

gnm - to me, it's amazing and has always been how i wanted to do things. a lot of that was in place, and almost the working together. i think spouses should be each other's best friends and share their most enjoyable interests together. not the same everything like you point out of course. but i've been concerned my spouse might think it's too clingy or too codependent or something.

i have question and maybe more appropriate for singles than she says but thinknig of wording...

The answer can be expressed in two words, Vanity and Denial.

I think of a question and come back.

He thinks no one can tell he's bald that way! Or he's in denial.

This sounds like a wonderful relationship to me. The happiest couples I know are like this.

I cannot think of a question at the moment.

Here's my first question: Guys, why can only the women think of questions so far?

OK I will go for it:

When a woman asks a guy who she looks in an outfit, does she want an honest answer?

I thought of one.

What is the deal with women who get all dressed up in a dress or skirt and nice top and then wear tennis shoes and ankle high white socks?

We're clueless.

In my case I had to help someone at work so didn't have time to type one out that made sense.

Well, if/when you're commuting, it's a must - espeically when you have a long walk from the bus/train to your place of business. But when you're there, you need to change into your heels, otherwise it does look a bit "odd".

I had to do that when I was in NYC.

Craig, is that what you were thinking about?

Yes but I have seen a number of women who don't change out of them. That is what I was thinking of.

This is a difficult one, maybe the right answer would be 'it looks okay, but not as good as the one you were wearing Tuesday', or whatever day would be appropriate.
I want to know if an outfit is not flattering, but I don't want to be told it makes me look fat in the process. I mean don't you hate it when your process looks fat! (Beat you to that one John.)

Then they're just being lazy - that's all, IMHO.

Thanks Collie. I had the standard sit com response in mind when I asked the question. I just wanted to do what real women thought about it.

From what I've heard, the comb over was popularized in the 1970s. Considering the horrible fashion of the time, I suppose it makes sense. Although nowadays I think men prefer to go shaved over a comb over.

Because if we admit it, we have no excuse to be lazy anymore.

I do. But I also think it's a set-up.
I think what they are looking for is, can you tell me the truth, in a way I can receive it? Can you compose an appropriate answer that is both truthful and loving?

Many times when I've overheard a woman's conversation with another (usually in the kitchen at work, in the hallway as I pass by, etc) they are usually sharing intimate details of their personal life. Why? And what happened to discretion?

OK, then why do we get punished if we make a mistake in coming up with the perfect answer? Why not look to the meaning of what's said instead of merely the words?

I agree with Lisa...I did this as well. When I worked downtown I had quite a bit of walking that I had to do, so I changed into my heels when I got to work. I never wore the socks though, I just wore them with my pantyhose.

They must have a very loose dress code. I had to change out of mine.
