I know this has been asked in other places, however this one is specifically for singles. How did you come up with your username?

I'll start, I came up with mine when I first got a computer and was looking to get online via AOL. I kept on trying names that didn't work at all. Something came to mind "blessed are those who are Humbleinspirit!" When I tried that name, it worked, and the rest is history!

Mutiny - my favorite MLS team (this was back in 1999 when I was living in Columbus, OH while going to grad school and needed to come up with a screenname and refused to do anything "Crew" related).

WX - weather - I was studying meteorology in grad school

Girl - I HOPE I don't have to explain that!

I got mine because my name is 'Paul' and my sisters nickname for me is 'Pauley'. The 464 is the month and year of my birth.

I think my username speaks for itself. If it doesn't swing, it's not worth listening to.

I've told many this before, but here it is again.

I belong to an alternate history site where I am generally the only girl. I had left the site and returned after one of the admin begged for me to return. Because I was still aggravated I wanted something that the boys would cringe over having to say whenever they talked to me. Hence, Tinkerbell.

I am a person with multiple interests, sports (especially baseball), photography and the arts, music, history (mainly Kansas history), so I wanted a name to reflect that. In the baseball world an utilityfielder is someone who can play several positions (interests). So my name reflects that.

Teaspoon is my nickname that only a few use and 61 is the year of my birth.

I came up with Teaspoon when I was being silly. My initials are TSP which is the cooking abrevation of teaspoon and since I like to cook . . . . . it just stuck.

Not cool . . . . but a little cute. . . . . . . . .nah just goofy!

These are very interesting!!

I picked mine because while I used to have one containing music people would ask if I sang or if I played an instrument. With "woodwind", it's pretty obvious which applies. 228 represents bday. I almost chose "clariboe" as my user name - a combination of clarinet and oboe.

I've answered this question before, but it comes from THIS hymn. Make sure to scroll down to see the words of the hymn itself.

Mine comes from my best friend - throughout my divorce she would always remind me that God would trade my ashes in for beauty. About 2 months ago I met someone and on one particular sunday during worship I realized how strongly I felt for this person and then we sang that song At the Foot of the Cross - (one of the lyrics is I'll trade these ashes in for beauty). A week ago, this person decided I wasn't the one - which is ok, if he is God will get ahold of him :)

I'm horrible at picking names. I have no creativity whatsoever. Normally, The first name I chose was gurlyclimber, then decided against it as I don't think I've earned the name yet. The next name was Mountainhiker, then I realized I only hike in the mountains a few weeks in a year when we actually go to the mountains. So, I didn't fit the name either. Now, prairiehiker is more like me as I live in endless prairie where you can hike a few hundred miles and still feel like you haven't left, lol.

I've probably mentioned this before, but here I go again.... RC are my initials (Ray Charles... I do sing, but I don't play the piano and I'm fairly pale). U-dawg is short for Underdog, someone who is not expected to amount to much. Over the years, I've shown that, if I set my mind to do something, I am extremely tenacious and can accomplish a lot! And, while I was active duty, I was initially a mediocre soldier. But, after being deployed and having a month to sort things out, I did a total 180 in my attitude and leadership. Within a month, I was studying for my E5 (Sergeant) board, and passed. Questions?

RC
