but I am constantly having discharge lately. It feels like I'm having my period because it is so constant. Sometimes it is colorless, sometimes it is yellow to light brown. I usually have some discharge before my period starts...but never this much for this long. This has been going on for probably a couple of weeks. I am wearing a pad daily because of this. Any ideas of what might be going on?

Ok, I don't know anything about you (age, etc.) but- Any chance you might be pregnant? Is there any odor to the discharge? Any pain or itching in that area?

I had a tubal ligation after my dd...that was 2 years ago. I just had a period mid-April... but my cycles never run on a 28 day schedule...it's usually much longer...so I should be "due" for period here in the next couple of weeks sometime... Odor...not that I detect. I mean, I haven't brought it up to my nose or anything, but there is nothing so great that I smell it. No pain, no itching...

Been researching...still can't find anything. One thing I read said either STD--which I can already rule out...me and hubby only and has always been that way...or polycystic ovarian syndrome...but I don't think that's it either, after reading the rest of the symptoms........ Am I going to have to go see a dr?

I think this is a question for your doctor. Dusty

see your doctor or midwife. Excessive unusual discharge can be the symptom of a LOT of female disorders....all of which are treatable if caught early enough....

I would check with my doctor, but I have often had heavy discharge(had to wear a panty liner or felt like I 'wet' myself) for no apparent reason. I know from TTC that there are certain foods and stuff you can do to increase your discharge, it could be possible that you just ate something or something like that. I'd say it wouldn't hurt to give the doc a call, but it could possibly also be nothing.

I'd keep an eye on it and mark on a calendar how much and what color, etc. You may find a pattern. If your period is due in 2 weeks, then you are now in ovulation time, which definitely affects discharge. I believe some women naturally have more than others, so it could be normal for you. I would just watch it for a cycle and then if it still seems odd, see the doctor. When was your last physical with pap? If you've not had one within a year, schedule one now. It could take a bit to get in and then you can watch the discharge in the meantime.

Thanks for your responses. I will keep a better eye on it...BUT I have never noticed this much discharge before... and I think I really would because like I said, it feels like I'm on my cycle. I have noticed though that it's more clear than colored... ??? and the smell, although not "strong" simply smells like urine most times, but can also smell like the same smell that you have when you are having your period.
