It's not apparent if this is a race to win the Presidency or a race to say more ignorant things than your opponent. Obama's winning, but he looks better saying stupid things. Here's one most of us missed, the kind of thing Hilary Clinton grinds her teeth about.

Brilliant war strategist, B. Hussein Obama, has a great idea. Let's move our Arabic translators from Iraq to Afghanistan where they're needed more. Too bad they don't speak the same language.

"We only have a certain number of them and if they are all in Iraq, then its harder for us to use them in Afghanistan." "We" is another gaffe. Most translators used by our military are local people who, unlike Barak Obama, know what language to speak. They aren't Americans.

They all look alike. You mean they don't talk the same?

It's not that difficult to figure out the intent of what was said, of course this requires that you actually listen without prejudice. A tough thing to ask some in this crowd but it's still a requirement.

Here's what I believe he meant.

"If all the translators we hire are in Iraq, how are we going to communicate with the people we need to in Afghanistan? It's irresponsible to put everything of that nature into one place without consideration of the prior war."

There that wasn't so hard was it, and all it took was some common sense.

I'm impressed by your translation of his gibberish. Of course, if that's what he meant, it would be equally dumb. Not "all of the translators we hire are in Iraq." Nor have we "put everything of that nature into one place..." Believing such foolishness is what got him into trouble in the first place.

Here is a little common sense. A translator must speak the language they're expected to translate.
