I was evacuated last night..UPDATE - 6/5/2008 12:55:00 PM

I would like to ask for prayer.
I was evacuated from my home last night because of flooding.
I got to return today because the water had receded.
Now they are saying it may happen again tonight. Please Pray that the Lord would give aid to all in this area and protect the people. It is still raining. Please join me in prayer.
Dear Heavenly Father I pray you would keep our communty safe and protected from futher flooding.
Lord be with those who have left their homes and give us all peace in the midst of this temporary problem.
Lord I pray that the rains would cease, in Jesus name
I pray Lord that the water where it has flooded will recede speedily and not be a danger to people or homes.
Be with us Lord as we look to you.
Hear my prayer Lord,I come Lord with humble heart and faith knowing you are in control.
Thank you Lord for all you are going to do and all you have already done.
In Jesus name
Amen

(((Sweet Kyl))) I can't believe it and am saddened by this ill-tiding. I pray over this situation for God to intervene and put an end to it.

This is so awesome to see the Lord move and answer prayer.
When I posted yesterday the black clouds were forming,rain was falling and all looked as bad as it possible could have.
We literaly had a line of storms coming right at us that was 3 states long.It went from NE,KS and TX.
Needless to say the outlook would have been very grim it faith would not have come into the picture.
Everyone I talked to were predicting the worst and even saying the missouri was so full there was no where for the water from our little town to empty.
Well within a hour of asking you all to pray with me the storms moved just to the east of us.
We had a few sprinkles last night and the water has went down several feet,
We had some of the loudest thunder I have ever heard in my life.
It actually shook the house.
Which made me smile because I had already seen the storms had moved on the radar.
I knew it was the Lord with his mighty power telling me he was in control..
So thank you all for walking in faith with me and trusting in the Lord.
TOGETHER we PRAYED to the Lord and HE ANSWERED.
WHAT A MIGHTY LORD WE HAVE.
A LORD FILLED WITH MERCY AND LOVE
A LORD WORTHY OF PRAISE AND THANKGIVING.
THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOR WATCHING OVER US AND LOVING US SO MUCH!!!!!!
THANK YOU LORD FOR HEARING AND ANSWERING OUR PRAYERS!!!

Praise the Lord! I am thrilled to hear things are getting better. Isn't that amazing when we all chime in in prayers and support for one another. May it always bring more faith and testimony to every one else esp. folks who are going thru tough time.
