It would be much better if we could have completely perfect people in Congress. Unfortunately, we only have humans from which to choose, so I guess we'll have to settle with people who make mistakes once in a while. Please don't judge people, congressmen or not. I'm not saying you have to vote for the person again if you don't like what he did; I'm saying that it's wrong to expect better from them than yourself or anyone else in the world. People are people.

It would also be nice if the claims were factual. There are no sources. I remember checkeing on this a few years ago when someone sent me these "facts" in an e-mail. Here is a Snopes article.

I also received this a couple of years ago in email.

It was referring to members of the Australian Federal Parliament.

Seems it is a "furphy" that has gone around the globe and changed to suit the leaders of the time.

Ignore it.
