My son is 13 now and I don't know how many movies I've seen with him in the theater that was just so "I'm just doing this and watching this lame movie for my kid" feeling-especially during the summer months. You know, those kind of movies that kids loved and it's a torture for us grown ups but seeing them smile or laugh is just the highlite for some of us.
Movies that I've seen with my son that were a complete torture-
Baby Genius
Hercules (The Disney Movie)
and the mother of all torture movies
Barney's Great Adventure

I'm sure there's more. So parents, grandparents or any grown ups who have to suffer from some of these kids movies....share some of them.

Barney's Great Adventure (how this didn't become a parent torturing franchise is beyond me...)

My husband and I chose not to have kids, so we have been spared most of those movies. But the times we have kept foster children, we have done the movies and the shows. Anything on Noggin is annoying. Barney, most of the Disney films, and for the older set--anything that they target to teens, like the horror films, the stupid spoofs they make of films, and antying with Jim Carrey or Adam Sandler.

Pokemon

I took a cousin of mine to see this a few years ago. It was funny cause the first few minutes they were showing - what I didn't realize was a short - of some pokemon, without Ash and the other kids with them, just talking in pokemon - I thought "don't tell me the whole movie is like this??". I thought I was gonna die! Then the actual movie started. Not as bad but still pretty bad .
