I want to ask for the prayers of everyone. I know the devil will keep trying to bring you down but at times it gets hard trying to stay in the will of God. Let me explain-- My ex-wife got saved during bible school a couple of weeks ago and since then we have been communicating alot better than we have since we separatedand divorced. Today after church we were both at her parents house and we had a good long talk about what has happened beween us. We got the air cleaned between us about alot of things, but thn th subject turned to the man she carried on an affair with and lived with for 3 years. She has since left him since getting saved. She was telling me how things have changed with him and I honestly replied how I felt about it. I knew the man she was with for a few years before me and her got together and I knew how he was. When I told her my honest opinion on why i think things changed between them she agreed but then I felt like I should have kept out of it. It made me feel like I was trying to drag him down in her eyes. I apologized and aske God to forgive me for saying the things I did, and I know God will forgive but it's hard to forgive myself for doing it.I need the prayers for strength to keep from putting someone down and for the wisdom to know when to keep quiet. I guess all of the hurt from the betrayal from my ex-wife and former best friend isn't as completely gone as I hoped it would be. Please pray that I can finally put all of the hurt and anger behind me.

Jimmy

Lord, I believe that one of the greatest pains we ever encounter on Earth is the pain that comes from being betrayed by someone whom we love. I ask you to please look upon JMCrwd's heart and see the hurt that continues to lie there. Please grant him the ability to finally be able to completely forgive his ex-wife for all that has happened between them. We thank you that she has been saved by Jesus Christ, and has come to join the rest of us in believing in your glory, Lord. This is truly a wonderful thing, and it is also wonderful that JMCrwd and his ex-wife are able to talk to one another in a civil and friendly manner. We ask now, though, that you help to heal him even further. Heal his heart so that the scars that still remain from this time in his life may be completely healed over and removed. Grant him the wisdom to know when and when not to speak his mind, and to be able to not be lead astray by his emotions over this issue.

God, you are truly great and wonderful. We are all unworthy sinners, Lord, but you willingly allowed your one beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to be sacrificed on the Cross for all of us to be saved. You are mighty, and you give strength to the weak. Grant strength to JMCrwd so that he might be able to become strong in spirit and finally overcome these events of the past as you continue to help him heal from them. We pray this in the name of the one True Risen Lord, Jesus Christ, who reigns with you forever and ever in your Holy Kingdom, God.

Amen.
