Hey there folks!

We are launching our first ever official office of President and Vice President of Xtreme Teens.

I will be going over some of the basic rules and regulations. Please note that we may change these rules as necessary so be sure to subscribe to this thread so you can stay abreast of any new information.

The term of President/Vice-President shall be 1 year.

A person may not hold either office for more than 2 years.

Persons must be under the age of 20.

Persons must be at least 13 years old.

Persons must profess to be a Christian and have a lifestyle that adheres to Christian teachings.

Persons must be active in their local church and/or youth group.

Persons must exhibit conduct and a code of ethics which adheres to the Terms of Service, Statement of Faith, and Range of Doctrines.

Persons must agree to abstain from sexual misconduct. (This includes any sort of sexual activity including cybersex.)

Persons must agree to abstain from alcohol use.

Persons must agree to abstain from drug use.

Persons must not act in a manner that is considered disruptive or attempt to undermine in any way the authority of Forums staff or volunteers.

I am looking for leaders here folks. I don't think this should be difficult because we are blessed to have one of the best Forums anywhere on the Web. I know there are leaders in this folder and I'm counting on leaders to step forward and take this challenge.

This thread will be locked and will serve as the official rules and regulations for the office of President and Vice-President of Xtreme Teens.

The President and VP of Xtreme Teens will receive special benefits including the following:

Custom Title indicating their office and year(s) of service

Increased PM storage

Increased Photo Album Storage

Private forums folder for those who have held the office of P/VP

Private secured room in chat accessible to all office holders and community staff

How does one become an official contender for the office of President and VP of Xtreme Teens?

The person who wishes to officially run for office must

1. Exhibit their ability to comprehend and follow instructions by following these steps. (Failure to do so may disqualify the contender)

2. Email community@salemwebnetwork.com with your username in the subject and the word XT President or XT Vice-President.

3. The message of the email should include the following
-----a. a 200 word essay on what makes a good leader
-----b. explain how you became a Christian.
-----c. affirm your commitment to abide by the rules and regulations of the office of President and Vice-President.

3. Agree to abide by the decision of the Community Manager regarding their application for President or Vice-President

4. Wait until AFTER your application has been accepted before starting a campaign thread. (It would be very embarrassing for you if your application was rejected and you had a campaign thread going on. Avoid that by waiting until after you've heard from me.)

Voting will begin on Oct. 2 and will conclude on midnight Oct. 8 (Eastern Time)

All users will be allowed to participate in voting.

1st place will be the President

2nd place will be the Vice President

The Prez/V.P. will...

* submit recommendations to the Community Manager for game and chat threads (Please note, these are recommendations, the Manager reserves the right to reject any proposal for any reason at the Manager's discretion.)

* faithfully report violations of the Terms of Service and XT folder rules

* work with Community staff to facilitate conversation and a healthy online community

* set a good moral and spiritual example

* help to lead XT participants in manner which promotes growth as determined by the Community Manager
