I have asked for prayers quite often and I need them every day. Here lately I feel that I have been growing in the Lord slowly but surely. At times I feel that I can take on the world and if something was to happen to me I know for certain where I would go and that would be home with the Lord. But recently the devil has been battling me every day. He has me feeling like I am dying and going to hell. At times I feel like I can't get out from under this feeling but then in a few minutes I will be back to feeling like nothing is wrong. When I feel bad like that I try to pray and it seems like the devil is right in my head teling me it's doing no good that I should just give up. I know it's just the devil trying to make me give up and I'm not going to, it's just that I feel so bad that the devil can get into my head that easy at times like that.

The devil has no power, because you have been saved by Jesus Christ, and his power is greater than anything, just keep the faith!! I will pray for you, and ask God to give you peace, hope and that all thoughts that are not coming from him, or that cause doubt to be banished from your head. Jesus will answer!!

Do you have Scriptures memorized?
It is wise to meditate on Scripture!
Take your thoughs and line them up against the Word of God.
This will be of great help to you!
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"

Lord I ask you get the father of lies out of this Christians head. Remind this saint, that our salvation is not based on feelings, but on grace by faith in You, "For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son, (whosever) believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16." Amen

I agree, the devil has no power over you whatsoever.
Memorize scriptures, a few at a time.

You are absolutely right...you know satan will tell you anything just to get you to give up. Just keep fighting and tell him to get lost because you will never let him win!!
As soon as you start hearing those words from him or you feel he is putting that doubt in your mind, just say out loud to yourself, I WILL LET NOTHING STEAL MY JOY! I do it alot and it has really helped, I am now able to catch him before he starts in on my and I focus focus focus, I start talking to God out loud, or i grab my bible quickly, and i even write him letters just to write down my feelings...Now I do it so much that I am really really focusing more and I am getting so much closer....trust me, just keep your head up and continue to lean on the Lord..
Lord, I lift up my friend to you that you protect his mind and thoughts from anything ungodly. that he not believe the lies of the evil one, show him you love him so much and wrap your arms around him Lord. Give him the strength, wisdom,peace and love to get closer to you Lord
and that his connection to you grow stronger and stronger everyday Lord. I bind these thoughts and lies that satan tells him and command them to leave him alone right now in the name of Jesus......
AMEN!!
