Please read before you reply. This one is going to be a little different.

Hi All,
There's some real hurt in the community about a lack of a job, or a job that has really soured, or someone that is looking for something better or needs that better job and can't find it. Enough typed.

I'm one of these people, though I know I'm not the first to say it. Really, there's no need for anyone of this situation to go into any details, just that they'd like prayer.

So, let this post be simply for an ongoing list of names. The next person needing prayer like this types

OneJohn410
Their Login

The next person can just quote those names and type theirs under it, whatever. Just Logins. We'll be the job-seekers. Someone that wants to pray for us, plese start up a post Prayers for the Job-Seekers. That way people can always go to the end of this post and see who's in need of some mighty, mighty job prayer.

The only other rule is there needs to be some massive celebrations when a seeker returns to that post and removes their name leaving all the others. That's a must! That and to post in the prayer warrior's post too.

Okay. Thanks and God bless for the prayers and the cooperation on this. I think it can work. : )

In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you,

OneJohn410 (just another day closer to my next wonderful job!)

My mistake! This is a bit much for everyone that's already been here and made their own post.

Members I've seen seeking prayer like me, so here's that list I was thinking about... and now I've got it!

I just looked at post titles, I have no idea if things have been miraculous for anyone else. Anyone?

Thanks!

Dear Heavenly Father I lift up all those who are looking for jobs.
I pray Lord you would open doors for each one.
Give them direction and guidence Lord as they look for a job.
Lord I pray you will help each one to find a job where they can be fulfilled and glorify you in all they do.
Be with them Lord and provide for each one.
Thank you Lord for all you have done and will do
In Jesus name
Amen

Love your employment and pray for your employer.
You never know how much a paycheck means until it isn't there.
For those of you who like me still are searching, keep on believing
that something's gotta give.

One other good thing I've learned...
when it's your turn to ask questions of a potential employer,
consider asking if cursing and profanity and demeaning comments
about religions are permitted in the office- so that you are not hired
in to a miserable setting.

In His awesome peace,

My final teaching paperwork should be coming in this week, and there are about 10 openings in my field within the two counties where I want to work. There are two within a mile of my house, and with my home situation of my elderly parents and terminal brother, this would truly be the best case for me. Please pray that I see the doors that God opens for me. I'm being certified to teach middle school math - a total career change for me, but it's what I feel is absolutely right. I can't wait to get into the classroom and teach these kids. I want to work with the lower-income ones - because I believe God has given me the ability to really make an impact on their lives.

Heavenly Father
Thank you for all those here onsite who
do not yet have jobs but in whose hearts You have
set the desire to find employment.
Help each and every one of them to trust in You with
all their hearts and not to lean on their own understanding;
And in all their ways to acknowledge You because You promise to direct Your children's paths.
Close any doors which would not be Your choosing for Your children
and thank You that when You open a door - noone can close it or at least
unless it is Your will.
Thank You for this thread and I pray it will be a blessing and encouragement
to all who use it because Your Word tells us to encourage one another.
Thank You that You are our Heavenly Father
and You want what is ultimately for our good.
Praise You that Your ways are so much higher than our ways,
and Your thoughts towards us so much higher than our thoughts;
Help us to humble ourselves to obey Your will and follow You
in everything we do and to realise that even if You do not open up the doors
of employment that we would perhaps hoped for that
Whatever doors You do open will be for our good and Your glory.
Praise You Father and thank You for health to seek and carry out employment.
AMEN.
