Please pray for my best friend MP, who was supposed to call me when she got home safely and didn't. She may have forgotten but as she knew I was worried, now I am even more so and don't know what to do as I live in another state....please pray she is safe and also that she knows enough not to go out drinking again. (The person driving they assured me wasn't drinking though.) She is a Christian but she has a weakness for this, especially when she is down as she has been lately. ....I know this sounds bad and it is.... Please pray that MP comes back closer to the Lord and sets her kids a good example, and pulls back out of her depression. I've asked you all to pray for her some time ago, especially her marriage, and she was doing better in many ways....I'd just appreciate prayer support for her. Thanks.
Addendum--- thank the Lord I got through and she is ok. But she still needs prayer. Please pray her faith is strengthened, and her marriage and finances. Pray I know what to say to her later too. Thanks again.

Oh thanks Barb; I didn't see you'd posted before I added the addendum for some reason. I think it was prayer that helped me get through finally. God bless.

Father,
Please help MP to draw close to You. We ask for Your encouragement, for healing of whatever causes these bouts of depression and for a beautiful, worshipful realtionship with You. We praise You for helping Caseyp57 to get through to MP and MP's safety. We praise you and ask this in the name of Jesus Christ because Jesus told us to ask in His name. Amen.

Father, thank You that MP is ok and the peace of mind this is to Casey. Draw her into an ever closer walk with You and help her to be the mom You would have her to be. Protect her children Lord. In Jesus name. Amen

Thank you PeaceofGod and Sparklingsnow also. It helps to know I have people helping in intercession; however I doubt she will answer the phone again if she does go out with her friends and sees it is me....we've been best friends since college but we live so far away from one another....I know she would be mortified if she knew I'd asked prayer for her here. But since I already have, please also pray she gets a handle on her bad language which has crept into her vocabulary lately. She always apologizes to me but it still isn't good.
