Prayer Request. Need For Peace - 7/8/2008 3:32:08 PM

As requests for prayer go, this is probably fairly minor, but has shaken our emotions and (sorry to say) faith to it's core.
The story-
My family and I live next door to a troubled young man. (17 years old) We've know his mother for years, and were surprised to see her move next door. All has been well, with the exception of the boy going a bit crazy now and then.
However, over the last year his behavior has gotten worse. In the last month, it's become unbearable, and seems to be escalating by the day. He and his friends have even gotten to the point of yelling insults at my elderly mother whenever she walks outside. He's now gotten into the habit of teasing my mothers dogs during the night. (all hours of the night) Needless to say, she hasn't slept in a long time.
Talking to the boy's mother hasn't helped, and the police are unable to do anything. These daily incidents are feeling very much like torture. It's lead to me, having feelings of revenge, and bordering very close to hatred. (I am resisting these feeling with all of my strength) Thankfully, my only solace has been found in reading the Bible.
I need prayer for this boy to find his path, and prayer for peace to return to this neighborhood. Prayer for my family's strength would be wonderful as well.

Lord I ask for strength and peace for terlima and her family. Lord work out this situation that terlima is in also I pray for salvation for the young man if he does not know you. In Jesus name I pray Amen

Lord, I pray that you soften this 17 year old boy's heart Lord, let him realize how he is acting
before he really gets himself into serious trouble, please intervene and stop this from getting
worse and end this..Please protect terlima's mother and let her rest easy tonight.
I pray for terlima that she just continue to lean on you Lord and let you handle this, do not let satan put this anger or hatred in terlima. Please just bring peace to this family and handle this 17 year old who is acting out...
