I would ask you to pray for my husband. Yesterday, he fell off of a flatbed trailer at work and cracked his pelvis in two places plus the socket of his hip joint. He is in the hospital in Denver which is about 300 miles from where we are. He has told me to stay put and take care of our kids and animals. He will be having surgery probably tomorrow (5/1/08). I just ask that you pray for him and for our two teenage daughters and me as we adjust to this bump in our road and as we seek what God has for us at this time. I am work ing from what I know that God is providing for us and protecting us during this time and that He is working this out for His glory.

Precious Father, please be with Brooke and give her comfort. Help her to feel your presence not only with her but with her husband who is so far away. Be with the doctors as the operate. guide their hands and Father give Brooke and her husband perfect peace in You, knowing that You are in control of this situation and that You love them both. You were there when he fell and you will be with him through every step that lies ahead. You will supply their needs. You will give the strength that they need to carry them through. Thank you Father that you are our Provider9(Jehovah Jirah) our Healer (Jehovah Rophe) our Shepherd (Jehovah Rohi) The Great I Am and we can fill in the blank.....You are whoever we need you to be. Thank You Lord. In Thy Name Amen

Lord, I lift up this family to You. I pray that through this situation that You would bring them closer to You and to each other. May Your guardian angels encamp all around this husband as he goes through this surgery process. I pray for healing and a speedy recovery. Lord, You are a God who works mighty things in the midst of trials. May this situation be an awesome testimony of what You are going to do in their lives. Bring comfort and peace to this family as they wait on You. In Jesus Holy and mighty name amen

We ask that You heal this man and bring the family ever closer to you.
We ask Father God that You show just how Mighty You are in this situation.
We ask that You give the entire family peace, wisdom, joy and understanding.

An Update
My husband came home from the hospital on Sat. (5/3) one day after his surgery. He is getting around on crutches and does pretty well. Still we need prayer for complete healing and for patience for all of us as we face each day and its challenges. They say he can return to work in about 6-8 weeks.

Lord Jesus, I just pray that you will allow Brooke313's husband to continue to get better and be healed in your name. I pray that you will continue to protect them and keep them all safe. I thank you for letting the surgery go well and pray for continued healing for Brooke313's husband and family. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
