Hi brothers and sisters, I have a struggle with social anxiety. I think it originally stems from the abuse from my mother. I forgive her. I have had periods where I have had victory over the anxiety and was very socially active and even did brave things with God's help. But, when our family had very hard times with our autistic child and financially etc. and we started having chronic health problems things turned sour for us socially. I hear that those with an autistic child lose their friends. Anyway, I have been afraid to reach out again and even have feelings I will be rejected as if this is my lot in life, which doesn't help because it probably shows and I do things to protect myself from hurt that probably come across as being unfriendly. I forgive those who stopped contact with us, for I am a forgiven sinner too. We were probably so worn out and just coping we didn't seem like our old selves. Anyway please pray for me in this area. Thanks! edit: We also moved to a new city awhile back and away from those friends we still did things with so we have to start all over again. Also people in the area we lived are into some kind of doctrine about prosperity so I think they thought we were being punished or something because of all the troubles we had.
Father, You know me intimately and my foibles and scars. Please use me in the lives of others as You will. I can be so afraid of rejection, because it came true. At other times You make me very brave. Please pick me up and set me on my feet and use me to serve others without regard for what I get back or fear of rejection. Help me to focus on loving others. Thank You for the victory in this. In Jesus' Name Amen

Yes, Father. Lift Imnotmyown up and bless her in every way that You know is best, and use her to Your glory Father. Thank You Father, that the scars and inperfections that we see, You don't see, for You have healed us Lord. You made us perfect through Your Son Jesus Christ. Bring good christian friends into Imnotmyown's life, that they can encourage one another. We thank You for her presence here Lord. In Jesus name, may Your will be done in Imnotmyown's life and the lifes of her family. Amen
