How do you remove the sticky adhesive that is left on a new shirt that you remove & some of the adhesive remains on the shirt? Is there anything that will take it off?

you can get products like Goo-Gone that often works. However, it is greasy so you may need to use some dish detergent to get the grease out.

It's a cotton t-shirt. You know how they stick the size of a t-shirt on a sticker that runs across that front of it at times.Sometimes when you take off the sticker it leaves a messy sticky residue behind. That's what I'm talking about.
