Whatever happened to The Sweet Comfort Band? Brian Duncan was their lead singer. Are their albums still available? Appreciate any info!

They broke up, didn't they? BD went on to have a successful solo career.

They indeed broke up with Bryan going solo and Randy Thomas forming "Allies" and later "Identical Strangers". My friend has the whole collection on cd. I believe Light Records did a best of cd a while back...same with Bryan and Allies. I have the latter and would love to get Sweet Comfort.

You can get the CDs from Amazon marketplace, although they are a little expensive (I did a search for them, several titles available). Just go to Amazon.com and search for Sweet Comfort Band. For each CD entry it will show you buying options. Be sure to look at the feedback ratings before deciding who to buy from. I've gotten an Undercover anthology and Rez Band's debut this way as well as several CDs for a friend and I haven't had a negative experience yet. Amazon guarentees the transactions also. The policy is posted on the website. As far as the band goes, I liked them OK as a kid. I had "Perfect Timing" as a cassette copy. Enjoyed it well enough and they were pretty good at their chosen genre. So there you go. The basic point of my post was to point anyone wanting their CDs in the right direction. BTW: no commision from Amazon, I have no seller account there, nothing to sell. My music collection has benefited from using the Amazon Marketplace so I thought I'd share with others.

I remember these guys and saw them in concert at one time. Very tight knit band.

Identical Strangers was a great project, it's too bad it never took off. I also liked most of what Allies put out. A few Christmases back I got my Dad the compilation from M8 Records that had all 4 SCB albums on a double CD. He really enjoyed that. Not sure if it's in print still, though.
