hey everybody...96% of the times when i wake up, i usually wake up with a song in my head...and it's like the song comes out of nowhere cause it's usually a song i havn't heard in a very looong time! at first its cool, but then sometimes pending on the song, it gets annoying after awhile...ya know, 6 hours later haha!! well this morning i woke up with that song tony gore sang, "put on a crown and walk around all over God's promise land..." know what i'm talkin about?! so i was wondering as we were setting up our equipment this morning, do you wake up with a song?! if so, tell me what song it is!! i'll be sure and tell you all what song i wake up with tomorrow!

Good idea, hogfan! I woke up thinking about "The Depths of a Father's Love" because I heard it on the radio yesterday.

Good Thread....this usually does happen to me. I went on a stretch where i would have a hinsons song in the morning haha. Then, the song would change at lunch time haha. This morning, i wake up to a sg radio station, i cant remember what song popped in my head or what was playing. I believe yesterday it was Hissongs "i still have it all".

It reminds me dragging my cat into a swimming pool when I was little.......that cat sure hated the water (but don't they all!?!?).

We had a kitty cat once that would sit draped around the sink bowl with her feet in the sink while my husband got ready for work every morning! She didn't mind her feet getting wet at all. Ashley was wonderful. But she's also the one that would raid my butterfly garden, come in through the cat door, and bring little friends with her. When I moved a recliner in the bedroom to vacuum behind it, I found an unbelievable number of butterflies that had "gone on to their great reward."!

My favorite song to wake up to on my CD player/alarm clock is "Everyday it Starts All Over Again" by Three Bridges. I tried to use "Get Up In Jesus Name" by Gordon Mote, but my wife started singing "Shut Up, Shut Up, Shut Up in Jesus Name", so I had to change CDs.

Every morning when i wake up, my clock radio goes off and plays...."I've Got You Babe", by Sonny and Cher, just like Bill Murray in Groundhogs Day!

I guess you have to have seen that movie for this to make sense.

I woke up this morning with "I Got Here As Fast As I Could" by Mark Bishop. In fact, it was in my head all night long, too.

When I go to shave, I find myself humming or singing whatever song I had last practiced or listened to. The last couple of mornings it has been the Dove Bros. version of "Tell Me Why". I can do a really good Burman Porter imitation in the close confines of the bathroom early in the morning, at least in my mind. (My wife says "NOT".)

When I wake up I usually sing (in my mind) the Anchormen's "What A Morning", the Cathedrals'/Weatherford's "Get that Frown Off Your Face", Gold City's "It's Gonna Be A Good Day", or the song "I'm Feelin' Fine". Those songs seem to help me throughout the day. I just pick one that will help what attitude I wake up with.

However, this morning was a little different. I borrowed a cd from the library and have been playing it all day at work yesterday. And there is one song off the cd that is very, very catchy.

The artist is Alvin & The Chipmunks.

The song...... The Witch Doctor!

quote:

Oo-ee Oo-ah-ah Ting-tang Walla-walla Bing-bang......

(Is it now stuck in your head too?)
