My dh and his co-workers were exchanging jokes the other day, and one joke in particular made me laugh out loud. Granted, it's a groaner, but still... Here it is:
How can you tell whether or not a tree is a dogwood?
By its bark.

After a concert this past Friday, my best friend and I lingered around in the lobby waiting for the rest of our youth group to catch up. Another group, obviously with the same dillema, was trying to find its members by playing Marco Polo. You could hear cries of "POLO!" from every end of the lobby.
Eventually my best friend couldn't take it anymore. He began to fidget. I knew he was dying to get in on the gag.
"Marco!"
"Polo!"
And then he caved. The other leader called "Marco!" and Jared cupped his hands over his mouth and bellowed at the top of his lungs: "RALPH LAUREN!!!!!"
NOT what I had expected, but I thought I was gonna die laughing. Everyone stared. He was pleased.

ok.... I am going to offend someone with this......
What are the 3 basic truths of religion?
1) Jews don't recognize the Christians
2) Catholics doesn't recognize prodestants
3) Baptist don't recognize each other at the liqueur store
(or at hooters heard it both ways)
BTW I was raised a deacons kid in a Southern Baptist church/home. I told it to my former pastor and he made a sermon around it.
