I have too many started right now, so all I want to do is finish 2 or 3. Then I can concentrate on the others a bit more.

Well, a man's reach ought to always exceed his grasp. I picked up a copy of James Joyce's Ulysses at a used book store -- in Turkish! Something to look forward to doing after I finish my dissertation, perhaps!

Indeed. That would impressive.

What is your dissertation on RJRfan, if you don't mind sharing?

I'm trying to finish up Carlos Ruiz Zafon's Shadow of the Wind right now.

When that is finished I should finish up all the others I've started:

Kon-Tiki (Heyerdahl)
As They Were (Fisher)
Cloud Atlas (Callanan)
Moloka'i (Brennert)
The Tin Drum (Grass)
The Beans of Egypt, Maine

I'm a technical writer by trade, so my working title is: "If you want to build a new civilization, make sure your instruction manual has these characteristics!" One of the texts I plan to analyze is Augustine's City of God. The game plan is -- use several sophisticated software products to generate data, and another product, such as SPSS, to analyze the results.

Next for me is Still Growing-Kirk Cameron's auto, after that Lost Boy-Greg Laurie's auto, and after that One Month To Live-Kerry and Chris Shook. I look forward to reading all 3, and have about 35 more to go through when I am done.
