I couldn't help but notice that all 3 of the young men working for the Perrys landed a Top 10 nomination. Are you gonna vote for one of them?

Well believe it or not, I also voted "other." My picks are Ricky Free or Josh Simpson. Following them, it would be Nick Trammell.

Early indications seem to show that Matt Holt's fans may vote for him in the Favorite Musician category instead.

Matt is nominated as musician and definitely has my vote there.

While I know which one I'm voting for, it shall remain my secret!

IMO, habedank is by far one of the best singers in SG and yet it seems to me he is a little underrated...and there's no doubt about it, matt holt is the best "young" piano player there is. period....but, my vote will be for joseph, even though they are ALL good!

Neither. Not that I don't like them but my vote is going for Amber Thompson for 2008. Her peformance on their new song "We Speak Your Name" is awesome!

I voted for Joseph in this poll for this category. It's mainly because of the way he's been (in my mind unfairly) bashed in certain websites. If Nick or Matt had been that criticized, I would have voted for them instead.

Voted for Joseph...love to hear him sing. Matt most definitely has my vote for musician. I was speaking to him at NQC - mentioned how it seemed that every time I turned around he was playing for someone (other than the Perry's.) He told me he was the 'Official Southern Gospel Fill-In!'

It's really tough, but I'm trying to decide between Josh Simpson and Dustin Sweatman.

Well this category has a LOT of great talent! I LOVE Dustin and wish I had several votes I could give because he is definitely one I'd love to vote for as well.

Actually Nick has gotten his share of 'bashing' on the site too but not as much as Joe.

Now Jason's pretty much getting bashed over there, and it's making me very angry!!! I keep saying that I'm going to stop going over there, but every now and then he's got some interesting insight that I would hate to miss.

I'm with y'all. I wish I had multiple votes for many of the categories! Aren't we truly blessed with SO MUCH GREAT TALENT??????

Dropped over there for a minute when I read your post Donna, let's see in my reading I was able to see bashing of Jason, Rodney, Mark Trammell & Steve Hurst all in the comments of Jason's announcement. Wow! What a great place

Not to mention he sent Jonathan Wilburn out with the most horrendous farewell possible. Why not praise the guy for his many highly successful years with the group instead of griping about why it was time for a new guy? Same goes for Jason Waldroup. It's enough to make you sick.

I suppose you're right. But I still think people have been harder on Joseph.

I would have voted for Joseph if I was going to pick one of these guys. I got to talk with him for a little bit at a concert last year and he is a really nice guy.

My actual vote for this category went for Jeremy Lile.
