In about an hour I have to leave to go to the funeral of my friends baby boy who died this week.
This is HUGE for me- lots of memories of loosing my own baby boy.
I feel like my presence will mean a lot because I'll be the only one there who will truly be able to understand how it feels to hold your son in your arms as he dies.
Pray for them and this long journey of pain they have just begun,
Pray for me that I will be able to be helpful to them as I am now two years into this horrible journey.
This sucks.

Oh Father, I ask for Your help in every way for this friend and friend's family who have lost this child. We thank You Father for the comfort of knowing this child is in Your loving arms. Please hold this family close Lord. Use dontbelonghere to Your glory Father, and comfort her as this is sure to care her to relive her own pain. Thank You for loving dontbelonghere. Hold her close, Bless her, and bring her joy Lord. In Jesus name we ask. Amen

Heavenly Father
Be with dontbelonghere today as this funeral
will bring back so many painful memories for her;
Help her to keep her eyes fixed firmly on You
and to be able to comfort this other hurting family
with the same comfort as You afforded her.
Heavenly Father we so often do not understand why
such sadness touches lives such as this
but help these families to encourage themselves in Your precious Word
which brings life and healing because You are the Word, the truth and the Life.
I thank and praise You that You conquered death
and because of Your death and resurrected life -
we can walk in victory and know that death is not final.
May the peace of God rule in the hearts of this family today -
You know the grief of losing a loved One Lord
and Your heart aches for this grieving family today.
Bless them in the midst of their difficult loss as only You can Lord.
