What I am intruiged by was Ziva being called out on having some kind of feelings for Tony.

Oh, I saw that one coming a LONG time ago. The lady doth protest too much! Or were you intrigued by her being called out?

No I knew they'd eventually do something... She took too strong an interest in Tony's g/f plus she was all concerned that Tony was sick when he was hiding the relationship. I've known they had to eventually make something of it. I've just been waiting for it to actually happen and now I'm curious as to what more is to happen. She seemed VERY concerned about him not answering the phone.

OK, so thinking like a writer and the character development so far...Tony's not an idiot (he just acts like a bafoon), nor is he going to be so easily deceived in the "spy world" so I'm still not convinced "he" is the only one being played here. But who knows? Hopefully, it'll be really good when it does finally play itself out.

And does anyone know if this episode was the season finale?

I believe it was the finale. So the good Dr's father is an international arms smuggler, eh? Does anyone know who plays her? I can not find her character listed anywhere...

OK, that makes sense.

I'm glad the finale didn't leave us hanging TOO badly (no one was shot and we have to wait to find out who lives and who dies... or some other such cliffhanger nonsense). While things are definitely still open ended, it's not as bad as it could've been. I'm still upset over how they ended The Unit. But that's a whole other thread.

Thanks. She is from Richmond VA, almost local here.

Anyone notice a resemblence to Kristin Kreuk of Smallville?

I'll be watching.

Several weeks back TV Guide said that a semi-regular from the first four seasons was going to be the murder victim in the season premier. I certainly hope it isn't FBI agent Tobias "T.C" Fornell, played by Joe Spano. He works too well with Mark Harmon when he's on there for them to kill him off. Maybe they'll kill off Jimmy Palmer. I never did like that character.

Yep, gonna be taping it. Funny how most of us who have responded so far are taping it instead of watching it live!

Last week we watched the season finale to get us back up to speed.

Palmer and Lee weren't from "the first four seasons", were they? AFAIK, they only came in the last season or 2. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hate to say it but Tobias seems most likely to me.

Lee came on as a semi-regular at the beginning of season 3. Palmer's first appearance was near the end of season 1, according to the Internet Movie Database.

You know, even if they do kill off Fornell, that doesn't mean that he is really dead. They killed him once before. Remember when he was found hanging in a jail cell? It turned out that his death was faked to throw off the bad guy.

Besides, the story in TV guide might have been a plant just to throw off the viewers. TV producers have been known to do that plenty of times.

Well, I personally don't see what you ladies see about the guys of NCIS but Ziva is definitely a hottie!

Oh, and I think Abby is cute too!

I'll be watching. And I prefer the director, she's definately the best looking of the bunch.

Well, after watching the season premier, the director should be replaced. I never did care for that character anyway, and now it has turned into a definite dislike.

Loved the tease. No, the director doesn't need to go. It's all in the story line.

I'm just hoping that Tony's girlfriend comes back. It's hard to believe that Ziva would be interested in Tony but they sure made it look that way.

Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Ohmygoodness! Are you serious?? She's liked him for SO LONG! She's worried about him when she thought he was going to the hospital because he was sick, etc.

Men.

ETA: Good episode! Because of the chatter in this thread, I thought Tony was dead. And yes, it emotionally affected me. Argh! So now that Jeanne's father is dead, is she safe? I would assume so, but ya never know.

Katelin: I wonder what Ducky looked like when he was younger.
Gibbs: Like Illia Kuriakan.

If you think he is cute now, get some old Man From U.N.C.L.E. episodes and check him out then. My wife tells me he was really something!. (I wouldn't know...)
