dear friends,

Mom did not go to the NH again! She had some kind of reaction and is swollen, red, and blotchy. She was really discouraged tonight. I went in, because I can usually make her laugh!

I got her to lift both arms gently up and down to stimulate some circulation, gave her tons of water to help her system, helped her get turned and on the bedpan several times. I am teaching her how to use the call light, and she actually did it a couple of times. Hallaleuiah for small victories.

Please keep praying for her. This is really a challenge for her.

You are all angels!

Father God Encourage this dear lady to work at her rehab as much as she can . Put desire and motivation back into her life to even do little things . I pray for Your watchcare to be ever present with her , minister to all her hurts and pains Lord God .
Bless her with joyful moments as it's been proven there is healing in laughter .

I ask for Nancy to be able to take care of herself, as well. The stress of caregiving is something that is cumlative. I ask that you help Nancy to save her strength and take breaks--- to even just stretch and breath...

Father, I lift up my mom again today. Yesterday, we were all unable to go durring the day, and my bro and his wife went at night. Mom was very mad and threatening to move to Massachusetts in with the wife of an old army buddy of my dad that she has not seen for about a decade or more?

Father, PLEASE lift up her heart and her attitude too. This was the very first time in 5 or 6 weeks we missed a day, and still one of us was there during the evening. We usually stay between 5 and 10 hours straight.

Lord, I beg you to help her change her focus and her effort. She has always been negative and draining, and FAther, we are all in our 50's ourselves, and each one of us fights a health problem. We would just love to see her, for our many hours, and just have her be a real trooper of love and friendship. It is very hard to just sit and listen to her complain vehemently for 4-6-10 hours. I don't even know what to say anymore.

She just had a car accident, and CAN recover, if she wants to....What do we do, FAther????

Help.

Please.
