I lift up Nancy's mom to you this morning and I just ask that today be a
good day for her. Lord you know her heart and you know her desires.
Father please provide all for her she needs and Lord bring her peace and
comfort. She has had a lot go on in her life in the last couple years.
Lord bring healing into her life and help her to reach out to you.

Dear Lord,
Praying in thankfulness for the last three prayers! Lord, please bless mom. Her complete discontent with life, which she has always had since I can remember back to childhood, is wearing on me. It is like having a heavy building lean on you and expecting you to hold the building up permanently.
Help Lord. It is time for her to find some contentment in her own heart, get involved...she has had precious people offer to come over, take her to church, to lunch, etc. But she very proudly says, I only want 'family'. But the family is down to Carl and I and we are worn to the bone of the many years of this.
Please open her eyes Lord. Draw her to you.
Help.

I just ask that you do a mighty work in this mother's life. Lord open her eyes and give
her understanding and give her wisdom and let her have a desire inside to know you
better and to see a change in her life. Lord bless Nancy and Carl as they do all they
can to help her and to do for her. Lord they are tired and they need a break.

Thank you for letting me speak frankly with my mom last week. Our time is nearing an end. Will it be a day, a week, a decade? Does it matter?
We either have to have a real relationship, or we might as well be strangers.
I want her to meet God with love in her heart...no malice, no condemnation, no judgment.

Lord God I am reminded tonight of Saul of Tarsus . Oh how strong he was and how determined in everything he did . When I read the writings of Paul I have to fall before You in awe and trembling ; for You alone could smite him blind and cause him to see ! How I praise YOu Lord !
You know all about this mother and the problems she has had and te ones she has made . God I pray that just as Paul heard Your call on hte road to Damascus , so I ipray this mother will hear You call her and she too will receive her sight and no longer be blinded by the aworks of Satan . Yes Lord.
Last night, I made mom an Easter basket with stuffed animals, mom's very favorite chocolates, an English teacup and saucer, "easter egg colored pens", etc....We were going over to take her out to eat, to bring the basket, etc....
Well, before we left, she called and basically said her phone was not working (even tho she had just called us), and accused my sis in law of blocking her phone, which she says constantly. She accused everybody of something. My husband talked on the phone forever as the hour ticked by.
I said, let's just go over there, and get off the phone so we can get there. So we said we would be over there in 15 minutes and were putting on our shoes to leave and she called again and I answered, and she said "I am not going!" I just sighed and said, ok if that is what you want. So, we just looked at each other and said "I give up" and we left to go ahead and go to Panera bread and take a walk down the river to find our peace and tranquility in our hearts.
Needless to say, by the time we got home 2 1/2 hours later, mom had called exactly 14 times.
What can I say?
With medication, mom is now clear headed, safe, has us three siblings come over every week, and a darling health care lady 6 mornings a week just to straighten up and make lunch, and see if she needs anything extra. But she is not, and never will be, content or happy or a giving mother or loving supporter of us. We have done it all for her for a lifetime.
Lord, we really need help and a break through.
Something in me is changing, because I am 54 now (WOW) and I have listened to her complaining about her latest irritation or her anger, or her digs, or her accusations , now for so many years and years and years I have become numb to them. Dad was always a buffer and a saint. He has been dead 3 years on March 7. Somehow, in spite of all we have done, she is just more and more angry that dad ever died at 88 years old. Lord, have mercy. I know he has a throne in heaven. A big throne in heaven in a special place for humble, loving saints!!!!!

Anyway, Please guys, keep praying for mom, AND for Carl and I. We are just beaten up over all of us.
H E L P LORD.
And I want to thank EVERYONE who has prayed with me over mom. YOU are all saints to me, too!!!

Heavenly Father
I just come to you with tears for my dear friend. She has tried so hard to help her
mom sence this accident and sence her dad passed and it just seems not to get
any better. Lord bless her for obeying you and honoring her mom no matter what
she may throw back at her Nancy still honors her mom by taking care of her and
always being there for her. Lord what will it take to open this woman's eyes up so
that she can see the blessings that you have given her in her children and the rest
of the family. Lord please bring peace and calm to her and this family. Lord bring
love let her heart just overflow with love for her children. Lord soften her heart.
Lord do a mighty work in her life. Lord I plead the blood over this mother and over
this family.
