Lord,
I lift up mom to you. She calls 7-8 times a day. Help ME, dear Lord. She is an enormous drain on my strength and my life. Help me to stay a strong and loving faithful life's example to my children, and not take her example into my heart.
May I never be like her, Lord, to be blunt. May I never ever drown my kids in my own self focus.
Bless her somehow Lord. I have no idea what to ask for anymore. I leave her in your hands. I love her, but she is smothering me with her choices of continual discontent.
Help us Father.

This family need your help your comfort and your peace. Lord this has gone

Be very careful here, we are almost getting like the pharisee that stood up at the front of the temple beating on his chest and talking about the tax collector. Remeber God loves your mother more than you do and wants to see her come to a greater knowledge of Him as well. He is using you to do that so don't allow the devil to frustrate your focus, which is to magnify God's kingdom on earth and walk in His rigtheousness. Wait on the Lord and He will renew your strength.
Father we pray for this sister's strenght in this moment that you will give her the inner power and might according to you word to stand in the midst of this difficult test. You are the one that is able to keep her from falling. Help her to stand therefore and continue lifting up her hands to you. Replenish her inner being, we pray, in Jesus' name, Amen.

her now and that she feel your presence all around her. Lord bless
her and give her wisdom. Lord comfort her and give her peace.
Father let her realize how much her family loves her and only wants
to help her to get better. Lord bless Nancy and help her to know what
to do for her mom and for her dear sister. Lord this family needs a
miracle they have gone thru so much lately the last couple years now.

After being a long suffering and completely devoted daughter who is at her wit's end, I don't think I am a pharisee beating on my chest and talking about the tax collector.
I am stating the truth of a very real and intense problem that has been real and tangible since I can remember having a memory. In other words decades.
And yes, I remember that God loves my mother and all of us more than we ever could. That is why He is God.
God has no Grandchildren...only children.
And MY Lord knows that when in despair, occasionally, I can even come and tell the truth to my fellow prayer warriors, asking for prayer in my own inability to change my mother or anyone else.
But thanks for the warning.

Heavenly Father , you know exactly how trying thie times can be and how much of Prayer Warriors life her mom expects to be able to claim and take over . God please guide and idrect this mother into having other interests that would occupy her long days when her daughter can't be there .
Father have mercy on this mom's children , bless them and grant them strength and endurance to run this race .

Father,
Help me to be more patient with mom. I am just at a new level of being numb. I know it is the time and the years, Father. Help me to keep hanging on and trying to be a faithful example of Your love, somehow Father. I love her in many ways, Lord. But she has been a continual drain on my spirit for most of my 50 years, Lord. I just feel truly numb. It is just the longevity of a one-way relationship.
Lord, help somehow. I love ya Lord. If I expected 1/100th from my children that my mother does, it would drive them completely crazy. It is just not a natural relationship of give and take, and I am just worn out...like a tire with absolutely no tread left.
Help Lord.

Lord, please bless mom and give her some kind of contentment within her own heart and soul. Bob and I were gone 2 days this weekend. We hooked up with Darci and new boyfriend, and then had an important eye appointment for my husband. By the time we got home there were 8 messages on the phone. Yes, they are very wearing, and I really don't know how to help her any more than I do. Last monday I had a cook out birthday party for her with all the family, and friday I went over and took pictures from the party and visited. Then the next two days she called 8 times and left teary messages. Gee Whiz!!!! I plan to see her weekly as long as I have her on this earth, and honor the type of mom she was to me as a little kid, and the fact that she was a good grandmother to my children as little kids, too. I am committed to her no matter what, but I can honestly tell you, nothing is ever enough, and never has been. She always see the glass as half empty. She never sees it as half FULL. She is the complete opposite of what my dad was. He was a positive, half full kind of guy! :)
Father, please flood her with truth and contentment. Somehow.

Do not give up. Being in a situation myself the enemy is trying to distract us from our heavenly father, but the enemy does not have the victory. Some suggestioins if you are not already implementing them:
Try reading a scripture to her daily
Pray over her and with her regardless of if she hear you or not.
I strongly believe in prayer and I thank God for finding this Forum. Our heavenly father is coming for his children and as I said the enemy is trying to bring forth distraction.
Father God I pray for a over flow of rain over this family as well as everyone else, for there are many in a dry place. I pray that mom will come and except you lord and receive your death on the cross that you have died for our sins. I thank you Lord that we are no longer in a dry place and that we are strong and have complete understanding. I believe in your word Heavenly Father as you said that you will ever leave us nor forsake us. Jesus we love you and you are so worthy to be praised. Out of our mouth we will continue to shout abundantly of praises and worship you Lord, no matter what. Because of your mercy and grace, Lord I believe and receive in your healing, strength, and understanding. As you take us through this time, you are allowing your angels to continue and uplift our spirits. Father God I thank you for purpose and change and know that you are preparing us for our homecoming. We love you Jesus and thank you
