Thank you for a blessed visit with mom, and eating lunch with her and watching her eat and drink by herself almost totally. She was so thrilled!!
Lord, remind her that her legs will also respond to the same kind of exercise and encourgement until she is able to stand then walk.

Precious God I pray that this Mother will open her heart and her mind to Your great and perfect will for her . Father God this dear woman reminds me of my own strong willed grandmother who could make us feel quilty just by how she looked at us . So Father I pray that You penetrate this womans will and her self determination to have things her way . Convince her Lord that she's looking through limited sight , that You have far more for her . Holy Spirit minister to her day and night . I pray Lord God that this family will be blessed by seeing this mother mellow out and become a sensitive compassionate person ; that she will be able to exhibit her love ,

Lord, I also pray this very same prayer for my sister, who is a carbon copy of mom. I am the only one who walks to a different beat, refusing to manipulate either of them. Refusing to push my will on any of my family.
It gets so stressful, Lord, as if the situation were not stressful enough.
Yesterday, the aids who sloppily put mom in the sling to transfer her, did it wrong, she started to fall, and jammed her healing (fractured) ankle on the floor and hurt it, AND her leg. Now she is depressed and upset, and I don't blame her at all.
Two steps forward, two steps back.
I really just ask for your prayers, everyone, and Lord for your blessings of safety, protection, peace, joy and comfort in this room today as I go out again.
Thank you dear Father.

Oh Father I'm stunned over this set back ; but Praise to You Almighty God ! You are not stunned or dismayed ,
this is just another opportunity for You to work in this dear woman's life . I pray Lord that she can see Your hand in
her healing and the progress she is going to make . Father God once again bring this woman comfort and assure her
that all will be well . Lord don't let her give up make her put her determination to work on recovering . Bless her mightily
Lord for every little bit of effort she puts forth . Thankyou Father God for hearing and answering our prayers .
Lord God bless Nancy and provide for her time each day to spend with You in Your word , that she may draw strength from it
and find a hiding place in You when she needs it . Hold her up and support her through all this Lord . And Father I thankyou
for the patience Bob has to have through this . Give him blessings and good gifts for the sacrifices he makes . This has been such a long ordeal for them both first with Sean and his family and thatn right away going into this trial ; so protect them both as they must be getting weary .

Dear God,
Please keep working on mom, who spent most of my visit saying that one month in this (very kind-hearted) home felt like six. They are working so hard to get her out and about, to help her improve, to help her even be social so she does not do her usual habit of being a hermit. She had made herself an isolation of prision in her own home before her accident, and we could not get her out for love nor money...the only places she really went were dr's visits and the post office and the local thrift shop.
Father, I see so much you are doing for her.
Please help her to quit saying woe is me, and start getting excited about the progress that is coming and can come.
Change her heart Lord.
Yesterday after we talked for an hour, she wanted to stay in her room so she and I could 'talk" and not go to the cafeteria to eat. I said, no let's go....it'll be fun. So we got in the big wheelchair and we talked and talked to an aide who is going to become a nurse. Later when we got back to the room, mom complained about the girl who talked so much at lunch. I said, mom people give life all sorts of other dimensions.
Frankly, after mom and I 'talk' for hours, there is simply nothing else I can think of to say, even tho she does most of the 'talking'. I love people and their stories and their focus. It adds life to life.
So, sometimes the visits are just so darn hard. I don't even know what to do with them at times.
When I went to leave, mom said, 'are you going to leave me in my time of need?"
I said, "mom, i have been here and I love to come. But now I have to go home." The guilt makes me want to cry.
Well, I hope this gives you faithful warriors a prayer focus, maybe.

Heavenly Father
I come to you asking for your hand to be on Nancy's mom tonight and I just ask Lord that
you would speak to her spirit and show her your love for her and that your there with her
and that you have a plan for her life. Lord give her the desire to do what she needs to do
to be able to go back to her own home. Lord open her eyes to the love that her family has for
her. So many people have no one to care about them. Let her realize what a blessed person
she is. Lord you and only you can bring a change into her life. I just ask Father that you wake
her up to the truth of this whole situation. Lord let her see that this accident could have been
much worse. Give her joy and give her compassion and help her see the good in others and see
that her family and the people where she is care truly care and are doing all they can for her.
Lord help her to not say things that make Nancy or anyone else in the family feel guilt for
what they do or don't do. Lord let her really see how blessed she is in so many ways.

Okay Nancy I have to come clean and admit something . God is using your mom to open my eyes to a problem I have that I never thought was such a problem .
Basicaly I ' m a happy good natured person . But when my family comes around I complain about everything and everyone , and than complain to my poor husband when they don't come around as much as I want . I have made very dear friends but they back off too , and I always convince myself that they just weren't sincere .
I posted a prayer for your mom one day and said how she reminded me of my own grandmother , well dear hubby always says jokingly that I am getting more like my grandma everyday .
I am being really convicted of how unpleasant I am being to those I confess to love , and it's because of your honesty about your mom that I am able to see what I am doing .
Lord God thankyou for revealing this truth to me , I surrender my critical spirit to You Lord . I pray God You will change that in me . And Lord God just as You have revealed this to me do it for Nancy's mother please . Show hwer also how wrong this is , and give her a true desire to turn her life over to You completely , hear my prayer Lord,

Wow, Becky, I felt the Holy Spirit gentley tingling on my shoulders as I read your post. That was a thrill. How hard it is to see Ourselves, isn't it? I know I have the same foggy view I am sure, when it comes to realizing anything I am doing...totally blind to it! he he

Your so good to us you always know just what we all need. You teach us things
thru others trials we if will just listen. Thank you for opening Becky's eyes to
what you wanted her to see and learn from this experience with Nancy's mom's
situation. Your so awsome Lord.
I lift up Nancy and her mom today and I ask for your mercy and your grace to be
on them and this visit today. Lord I ask that they have a wonderful time together
and enjoy being together and enjoy the day. Lord reveal to her mom what you
are wanting her to learn and to see. Lord give her a comapssionate heart for
others. Give her understanding of others feelings. Lord just help her to be what
you want her to be. Lord I ask for healing of her body from this accident and that
she will do whatever the doctors tell her so that she can recover more quickly.
Lord again I just ask for a good and wonderful day for them. Lord I also ask tha
Nancy be able to get some rest that she needs.

Father God give Prayer Warrior a supernatrual strength this day which will carry her through . Fill her with good and pleasant thoughts when she needs something else to focus on today.
Father I pray for her mom to be mellowed out this day and willing to work at being a little more pleasant today .
Father there must be so many frustrations for her as she can't get up and about like she use to , I pray God that You help her be patient for her own good and the good of those tending to her needs . Father please give the nurses and nursing assistants all compassion and more understanding , help them to be able to overlook the bad moments they have .
Father God I pray You would work a real miracle here and give this lady a compassionate Christian friend that can minister to her on her own age level , someone this mom can respect and admire and would listen to . Please Lord.
