Alright ok, I'll post simply because Im a post hoarder Vital Signs: 21 y/o F, BP110/56, Resp 12/min, EKG: sinus rhythm, Pulse:55/min(bradycardic), pupil: equal and reactive, skin: pink and present, Pulse Oximetry: 99%, GCS: 6, Drip rate: TKO, Injuries: None, Transport: stay and play status..... oh wait this wasnt a patient assessment?????? D'OH! Ok here goes; Im 21 y/o F, my occupation is an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), (NREMTB, AR-EMT-A) Im divorced, single, and have one child who is about to turn 2, woohoo. My hobbies include: Retriever training (yeah skilled retrieving for hunt tests and field trials), duck hunting when I can, deer hunting when I can, fishing, enjoying the outdoors. Also spending time with the young'un and camping. Right now Im currently between jobs and I should be moving relatively quickly to a new job. Im a member of: Student Doctor Network, EMTLife, EMTCity, AEMTA, NAEMT, WaterdogTV forums, Retriever Training Forums, The Refuge forums, Firehouse.com forums, and an inactive member of FBC-D******, AR. My plans for the future: becoming a Critical Care Flight Paramedic specializing in Pediatrics (Angel One Flights w/ AR Children's Hospital), but I must get one full year experience as an EMT in the state of AR, then I will enroll in Advanced Life Support (ALS) courses to become a Paramedic which is a 2 year program, then I will have to do 5 years experience on Road Ambulances, I will likely begin instructing CPR classes and once I receive my Paramedic status I will get for my EMT-Instructors certifications. I will likely do hands-on EMS until Im physically no longer able to do it then I will either begin instructing EMTs full-time or move into a management position within the EMS system. Thats alot, but oh well Im young, I should be able to handle it. -CaptainPanic
