Have slight anemia (common w/these daily shots) can't get procrit for anemia approved until I take additional tests...will be away getting those done so that I can fight this creeping in anmia.

Father, we agree together that Rick would be blessed and encouraged today and every day as this treatment continues. We thank you for touching our lives with his testimony and his friendship. Thanks for those prayers at a MILESTONE today..normally they do not test Hep C viral levels until 90 days of treatment; it's usually too early.

But I will be in Manhattan today to do a series of tests after ONLY 1 MONTH...I have told my liver specialist that I'm believing that tests will show an UNDETECTABLE LEVEL even though it's only been a month.

I WILL BE IN MANHATTAN TO MEET W/ LIVER SPECIALIST THIS AFTERNOON.

They took labs after 1 mo. vs. 3 mos. so if my hep in UNDETECTABLE it's near miraculous...be back later.

Thanks I'm back & off again today for a ROUTINE removal of something found during my recent colonoscopy; it will likely be scoped and dealt w/ as a brief event; will keep you posted.

THE EXCELLENT NEWS is that the usual 3 month wait test to see if the meds are working on the hep c was done by my specialist at one month. It showed a two hundred log DECREASE...the standard for a good start is a 100 fold decrease after 90 days...so in essence I am at where many may take months to reach or never reach at all.

Anemia has lessened too; but temporarily I've had a slight t-cell drop, praying for a rise again.

Father we thank you for walking Rick thru all of this. We thank you for this wonderful report. Please continue to bring healing, according to your wisdom and your love. We want it quickly and we ask for quick healing, but we trust however you choose to bring it about. Bring the count up and keep the anemia a non-event. Off for Manhattan for accupuncture on my knees & liver health..mainly to see my liver specialist later today & to take some tests, as many know I had a tremendous 200 fold drop in Hep C that can take others months to reach-mine happened in just a month of the daily inteferon shots.

My dr. says I might not reach undectable on this series due to drastic drop last time..I'm BELIEVING THAT NEXT WEEK WHEN THE RESULTS ARE IN---I WILL BE HEP C "UNDETECTABLE", amen?[sm=icon_smile_fish.gif]

*** WELL IT TOOK MORE THAN A MONTH BUT I HAVE BEEN "UNDETECTABLE" NOW FOR A FEW WEEKS.

Still borderline on red blood cells; praying my old enemy anemia will(Correction: +++NOT+++) show up as it did at the start.

Seeing my liver specialist today; away from Brooklyn for 2 appointments & dinner w/ a friend to discuss stocks (as a rookie w/ out a trader advising made $587 my 1st month of trading, as a matter of fact the market has not been doing well the last week or so, but today I could of made a $200-300 profit, but am sitting on the stocks for now).

Looks like a great day to be in Manhattan!
