After a pretty good wait, I see the 2 officers walking back to the cars but no one is in handcuffs. The suspects are no longer suspects. Sigh... No one going to jail today...
Kristin, with my hand up . . . I promise you that as I was making my bed yesterday, I was thinking about you and the ride along, and suddenly felt almost let down wondering how you would feel if no arrests were made during the ride along.

LOL

Someday.... someday....

What's funny, is the Sgt was saying how ride alongs often go one way or the other with some folks. She said, there are some folks that ride and nothing ever happens. Other folks it seems have only wild rides. She was sharing about her mom who is in her 80's. She said, everytime she rides, they seem to go from one emergency call to the next. She was describing her mom, tiny, little old lady grabbing hand-hold of the SUV and asking excitedly, "Do we get to go fast again?" everytime a call comes in...

Are your babies glad that you're home?

I was just talking to my housesitter and she said the cats were great (Sadie got pretty affectionate with her and she agreed that Miss Asia is a real pest) but my dog moped the entire weekend long... Right now, she is curled up next to my chair... I think she likes me...

Phosy!!!! I'm glad you had a good ride along (sorry about the no going to jail part) and that you're back.

Now there's an idea! What were you thinking? Drunk & disorderly? Maybe some "special" brownies?

Drunk and Disorderly wouldn't work with me. I can't stand the taste of alcohol. We'd figure something out. Maybe get me for jaywalking...

We'll just have to make sure we coordinate this well though... I'd hate for you to be arrested and some OTHER officer hauls you off to jail and I miss out... again...

Yep. That would not be good.

Yeah.... I'd be 0 for 4 on getting to take someone to jail....

I suppose you probably wouldn't like it much either...

I'd take along my bible and start preaching while I was there. Not sure how the sheriff would feel about an impromptu revival, but hey...

James - the sheriff goes to my church, so he'd probably love it!

Counsellor, are you trying to get Dude out of jail? That would be fine. I only want to throw him in. After that, I don't really care...

Now you wouldn't have that problem in Boston at all.

In that case, I'm on the way...

Yay Phosy! Sounds like you had a great time. Maybe you can arrest somebody next time.

I'm on the other side of the state - it's about a 4+ hour drive to Seattle (or more depending on traffic). I love Seattle though! This weekend, I was in the Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA area.

Actually - the Tri-Cities. We're about 2 1/2 hours southwest of Spokane. Anything over the mountains is a "different world" from Seattle. In more ways than one!

Somehow I believe it although it is my thinking that anything in the Northwest is more or less similar than that of the Northeast though. Then again, Maine is decided quieter and friendlier, as it Rhode Island and Eastern Connecticut as well.

I don't know why it posted twice. Forums have been strange today, so I had to change the way I usually log on.
