I'm thankful for a safe outdoor climb today. My daughter even tried and made it more than halfway. We got back in one peace and still thrilled for being able to experience it though we didn't make it to the top. I tell ya, I've never clung onto God more than when I'm hanging by a single rope and there's nothing but rocks everywhere you look---up, down or sideways, lol.

Also, this is something I was truly thankful for. It was a rescue op for endanged species of birds that were nesting in one of our buildings and due to too much rain, the city had to do a rescue op as the chicks would drown. They had someone rapell down a 350 ft building so the birds can be rescued. Though they died, seeing the effort that was put in to save those birds put tears to my eyes. And we witness it right in front of us as the building was directly across us. I know that God doesn't always rescue us from bad situations, but I often wonder what amazing rescue effort God does to save me from some of the bad situation I've found myself in.

I'm thankful for sensible shoes. Some people don't have shoes, and I have plenty.

Thankful for getting home safely last night. Pulled into my driveway at 1:30 AM. I was soooo tired the last 30 miles or so were a little hairy. But God is good.

After starting the shift off on the wrong foot, I did help to save a man's life tonight at the prison that I worked at.

I was on my way to escort one of the Death Row inmates from visiting back to his room when I heard a call over the radio about an inmate trying to hang himself. When I heard that it was side of the SMU (Special Management Unit) that I worked at and saw the section Sergeant ask for a video camera, I immediately volunteered to do the video taping. And, I'll tell you one thing, the man was definitely trying to kill himself. But, we were able to prevent him from doing so. Please keep him in your prayers, as I'm sure that he's still hurting over what ever set him off to try and kill himself

And, quite frankly, I've had a very, very long day! I am very tired!

That Thing 2 is proudly a Mama's boy and will tell everyone all about it too.

That when I said, "But I'm a cool Mum and that's all that matters." to his dad he said, "She does have a point there; I haven't met anyone cooler than her." And Thing 1 piped up and said, "Unfortunately she is really cool. All my friends think so."

LOL, TinK! My daughter hates that her friends think I am "way cool". I love it because they all WANT me to go on trips with them....

Wow!!! This is awesome Prairiehiker! Amazing :)

I'm thankful that this week, I was able to sit in on a good bible teacher who was led by the Spirit and also knows the word. A young woman got saved as a result - and it was the first time in a long time that I've felt encouraged and really ministered to. Also, I'm thankful that last night, I was able to get together with other believers and worship. We let the Lord just move and many people were blessed as we ministered to each other. It was wonderful. I'm also thankful that God got me through a minor heartbreak this week. It was tough, but I'm so happy today.

I am very thankful that last night when making a delivery, I accidently left my wallet on the counter of the security desk in the lobby and almost walked out without it. Security called me over to retrieve it instead!

I'm starting a new bible study tomorrow - and I'm SO excited. It's the first thing I'm doing at my new church (been going there since the beginning of the year), and it goes right along with other stuff I've been doing online. We have a study on both Monday and Friday nights. This is good. I'm excited.

Excellent! That's always the most difficult time to go, when you haven't exercised in a while. Good job!

I'm thankful for dirty teenagers... because w/out dirty high school teenagers, I would not have a summer job cleaning!

I'm also thankful the Lord gave me wisdom for a no ask / no tell policy... I really, really didn't want to know what else besides paint I was cleaning off of those lockers today!

Thank you, Lord, for your provision.
