I DON'T LIKE IT.

Well, I've managed to figure out how to add names to the address book.....and sub. But I just don't know what's going on......and the explanation they have given about how to go to your last post just DOESN'T make sense. Is it one of those things that only works on some computers again?

I HATE THIS.

I thought that changing over the system was supposed to make things a bit easier? None of their explanations are making sense, and I can't find things......and I can't even tell if one of my threads is being posted in without going to it....

Geez. I'm so mad I can't see straight!

I think y'all are doing fine. Like riding a bike for the first few times, you might fall off, but you get back on it and learn new tricks to stay up.

I like the look of the new forums but I am having some troubles finding my way round and understanding the instructions too. I guess we will work it out in time.

Has anyone figured out how to go to the posts after what you have already read yet? I can imagine that in a thread that gets a lot of posts [like this one usually does], people are just not going to be able to figure out where they were up to?

Ok... pretend you are clicking on the Singles folder... and then you see all the names of all the threads....

Now pretend you want to post in the ABC thread... Don't click the thread title!! Click the little arrow that is pointing to a little page just barely to the left of the title....

I keep forgetting to do this.... but it works....

Yes... this is feeling a little outa whack... but we'll get it!!!

We are triumphant!!

BTW.... HI TRISH!!!!

If I'm not mistaken, I think there is a thread about a wish list. So we can express how we might like things to be "tweeked". I haven't really checked yet and it will be hard for me to see to much here today but all the question asking of a all of you is helping me to learn easier.

Thanks for that all!!

LOL Pammy. Maybe you should have had it. A smiling horse? Well, at least the smiley bit works. LOL.

That WOULD have been funny for Smiley.

I'm sure that she will find an avatar that fits her wit.

Hey Rach!! Go to Avarity.com, pick a picture and save it to your computer. Then you would upload the file through "My profile". It should work...it took me a little while to figure it out because the computer I use at work saves it as a BMP, while my computer automatically saves it as a JPG file. GO FIGURE....

It doesn't work for me! Every avatar I've saved has been automatically saved as a bitmap file (.bmp). How can I undo that so it can save as a .jpeg file?

It's ok. At some stage I should learn.

I'm having problems getting the colours to come up, so they are just staying black.

After you've finshed typing your message, highlight your message, click on "color", choose the color you prefer and it should automatically do it.
