can ya'll pray for me and my relationship with my parents? we haven't been getting along lately. it's not as bad as last time with the huge fight with my dad, but still it's not exactly hunky-dory if ya know what i mean....thanks guys!

Please pray for my poor boss and his wife. She wants a divorce and he doesn't know why, so he's really upset. Please pray that God will reconcile them and show my boss that He really is there. And I need prayer in this, too, because as far as I know, I'm the only Christian he knows and he's constantly drawing on me for advice and strength.

I understand what you mean Schec, my boss and I have the same kind of relationship.
Could you pray for my mom and I please? She is always mad at me and I never know why. Both my parents work alot and I have to take care of my brothers most of the time (I don't mind because I love them to death.) My brothers tend to listen to me more than her so I think that has something to do with it. I'm just sick of fighting and when I tell her that she just gets even more mad.
On a happier note, please pray for my friend Georgia whose family is adopting a two year old little girl from china. Her name is Adelie and she is coming home tonight!! Georgia's mom left a few weeks ago to get her and the two of them have bonded. I just hope that Adelie is not to overwelmed by their family. Georgia already has five siblings.

Ok... you guys are gonna be the first to know about this, because you've ridden all the way with me.
As you know, I've been in conflict for ages about whether to go to Patrick Henry College or Texas A&M.
I logged onto my college application site this morning to finish filling out my A&M application. I knew I had several more weeks to write the application essays, because the deadline was Feb 21st. I finished it and went to save it when the message appeared on my screen:
"The deadline for this application has passed."
I was stunned. I knew it was Feb 21st-- I had checked it yesterday. I clicked back over to the list of deadlines and read "Feb 1st." I KNOW I had not made a mistake. It HAD been the 21st. I'm convinced of that.
What I'm getting at is, I feel like I've been stabbed in the heart-- I wanted to go to college there for TWO very good reasons, one of which is qoing to be quite disappointed and probably angry with me. But beneath all this pain, there's a queer sense of relief.
God has answered my prayer. He has made it crystal clear to me that my path is not the easy one. And even though it's killing me not to cry, I realize that He just simplified things for me. Though it hurts like nothing else I've ever felt, I'm thankful that I won't be presented with a choice I'm not strong enough to make.
So this isn't a prayer request, although prayer for faith and peace would be appreciated-- especially when I'll be forced to tell Jared. It's a praise report. Even if it does sting.
I will be telling this with a sigh

Awwe, Steph, that must've been hard for you. But praise the Lord for His goodness to make everything clear to you, that is a blessing, even if it's painful right now. Wish I was there so I could give you a big hug...

argh, ive got to go to college tomorrow, miss a fun ski trip, and take a big philosophy test. please pray that HE would give the strength to get through it.

Can y'all pray for my friends and I????? The samething is happening all over again. with the same people, about the same people. I am getting sick off it right now. There is only so much that i can take. And I have other problems in my life.

Please remember my sista-girl Nicole's younger sister in your prayers. She had to be rushed to emergency surgery not long ago because her white blood cell count was becoming septic. She's "mostly" fine, mum says, but definitely needs prayers.
