Well then, come on down to Georgia!!! And I was a little bit wrong on my list above. . . . The Florida Boys were at the Sunday night concert not Dixie Echoes. The Dixie Echoes are on the list of artists for next Saturday!!

Seen the Crabb Family New year's eve night in Fenton Mo. They were FANTASTIC!!! A great concert can't wait to see them soon.

The last concert I attended was this week-end and I heard the Anchormen. They were fantastic!! I can hardly wait until I can see them again!!

The Mercy's Mark concert in Aiken, SC last night was terrific!!! They have a special way of connecting with the audience whether they're singing with tracks from their CDs or singing with the keyboard or even a capella. Last night they did several old songs that I especially liked --- Lighthouse, He Loves Me, No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus, Amazing Grace (the last verse was a capella and was incredible!!!!). And when Garry gets the audience to sing along, well, it's just wonderful!! I was hoping for a great piano solo, too, and Garry did his fantastic arrangement of Unclouded Day. It was such a blessing and such a worship experience. WOW!! And I'll get to hear them again Saturday in Bessemer, Alabama --- I almost can't stand to wait!

2006 concerts I attented
April-Gold City Kingsmen Kings Gold
July-Dove Brothers
September-Gold City and the Dove Brothers
October-Gold City at Dolly Wood
Crabb Family
December-Gold City Kingsmen Kings Gold
Thats all I can think of right know!
January 12th Mike Bowling will be at Gillionville Baptist at 7:00 in Albany Ga if any one wants to go Ill be there at 5:45 because my mom will have to do an interview!Let me know if any of you guys are going so I can look for you!
January 13th and 14th Quinton Mills will be at Trinity Worship Center in Albany Ga! This is my home church so Ill be there! The 13th it starts at 7:30. The 14th will be at 11 am and 6pm! So if any one is going let me know so I can look for you!!

We went to the Legacy Five/Greater Vision concert last night and it was fantastic. Greater Vision sang first and they did quite a few songs from their newest release, Hymns of the Ages. This project is very different from their Rodney Griffin and shaped note songs. It is absolutely beautiful. When they sing unison it is so majestic. When they sing harmony, it's like heaven. I just cannot say enough about their newest project.
And I was thrilled that Stan Whitmire played the piano for them. Stan was humorous to watch because he has a broken left ankle and he's using crutches to get around. Gimp or not, it was great having him there.
Legacy Five sang both oldies and songs from their Live in Music City project. Again, they were awesome. And since Roger Bennett is not able to be with them, Scott Howard has pretty much taken over the comic relief. His humor was frequent and wonderful! Lots of teasing going on up there! What a gifted bunch of guys! And I enjoyed their stand-in pianist, Mr. Parton (can't remember his first name, but I'm sure Dinana will post it when she gets on here).
OF COURSE, they finished the program with a joint L5/GV rendition of Champion of Love. No matter how many times I hear them do that song together, it always sends goose pimples up and down my spine!
For those of you that don't know, Legacy Five's first concert was at Roswell St. Baptist Church in Marietta, GA and they come back every January for an "anniversary" concert. I've been to three of them and look forward to many more!

I had the chance to see Tribute Quartet Saturday night. I must say I was impressed. They definitely have a talent in tenor Jacob Kitson. I believe he has a bright future in Southern Gospel Music. I wish the guys all the best in this new endevour. Gary, for your generosity I say thanks!

I have liked Lordsong since their debut. I have every recording they have done. Kim Lord is one of the best female vocalists in Southern Gospel Music. The last I heard, they are suppose to be releasing two new albums this year. I can't wait!!

I am among the fortunate few who are not troubled by the woes of any football team and are free to represent Southern Gospel even during football season.

We were in LaGrange, GA with Karen Peck & New River and the Perrys last Saturday and plan to be in Gainesville, GA with Gold City, Kingsmen and Kingdom Heirs this Saturday.

Saturday night in LaGrange, Matt kept us up to date with the Colts score! But no one was watching/listening to the New Orleans game so I didn't know the result until I got home!

My friends saw the Hoppers last Sunday at First Baptist, Morristown.
They really loved it. I want the new Hoppers album (since my friends didn't bring me one).
