......... I was just thinking this last night....

I am again reminded how God is working behind the scenes in all of our lives... and I love how His plans are sooo complex.... some of them take years of preparation for the 'final moment' of blessing.

I hope that you had a good week. You will be happy to know that both Thursday and Friday went better for me. I am planning on seeing my family this weekend which should be nice.

I truly need to catch up with DS.... I haven't talked to you in a long while.... I can't remember who's turn it is to call....

Okay....

The highlight of my weekend...

My mom's cat has been missing for 3 weeks now...

We think she ran off to die..... she was not feeling very well right before she ran off...

My mom wanted to wait until her plans were figured out about moving before getting another pet... but living alone (for the first time in her entire life!) has been too difficult for her.

I was at her house last night.... we were both in the study... she was playing games on the internet.... and I was wi-fi-ing with my laptop at my dad's desk....

I was posting an add on Craig's List to sell my dad's truck....

Mom is not familiar with Craig's List... so I told her to go look around...

well... out of the blue (not really because this is a God thing) she finds a little old dog who really needs a good home...

The dog's owner... a little old lady died... and now the dog is living with a young family with two little kids and a boxer who jumps on him for play time...

The family was willing to let us go look at him at 9pm last night...

We brought Benji home.... and mom's heart is not so lonely anymore...

I think they will be wonderful friends!!!

...... It's amazing to see God work when we are willing to walk in obedience.

The guy now carries his guitar with him almost everywhere...

A woman from his church heard him... and is going to try to get him on the worship team...

He's only been playing for 6 mos...

God's plans really are the best!!!

........ we should all have 'Ziggies'!!!


Last night, Joy and I celebrated Cinco de Mayo.... she made a wonderful observation...

The only people who seemed to be celebrating it in my little town were white people!!! lol!! The Hispanic people were not really out and about.....

The observation made me laugh!

I love getting together with Joy... we have some of the best conversations....

Last night one of the things we talked about was freedom in Christ....

There are sooo many people who are focused on the 'bad' stuff they've done or struggle with... it seems their focus keeps them from walking and living in victory and freedom in Christ....

    Galatians 5:1 NASB
    [1] It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.

Benji is doing well.... I took the younger girls over to mom's to meet Benji... they had a good time...
