Never realized how much your DD1 looks like you until I saw it.

Has she seen the pic? If not, I think she'll find it fascinating. Though I doubt she'll see the resemblence. I never did.

Okay.... Remember Lily Tomlin? "Hey Lady!".... I used to LOVE LOVE watching her dress up and act like a little girl and sit in that big chair!!! (Di - calling you Ladi made me think of her!! lol!)

I don't think I look like DD1.... I'm not sure she's seen this photo... lol!

I'm amazed.... I had a waist... do you see it? I can't believe how I fell for lies that I was FAT! I'd absolutely LOVE to be that size again!!!

Lets see.... last night I went to a prison ministry fund raiser for the Gospel Echoes. They have several teams which sing in prisons all over the country.... they also provide Bible studies for inmates all over the world... they even provide volunteers who 'grade' the Bible studies and send their comments back to the inmates.

It was a great time... I got to see Murph the Surf.... he recognized me from seeing me several times in Texas... I took my youngest two daughters so they could get a taste of what I do.

It was so very cool to see TWO tables of inmates from Chain O Lakes facility....

I was definitely in my element!!!

One quote from Murphy that stuck with me.... he was challenging people to get out of their comfort zone to serve the LORD.

"There are no blessings in the comfort zone."

...... and I think he's right in this statement in a round about way. Yes, we may be blessed.... but there is a different kind of blessing that happens when we step out of our comfort zone to serve the LORD. I can't explain it... it's just ....... MORE.

It was a great night....

I mowed my weeds....

Yes, they are. The biggest and most beautifulest dandelions God ever made. The story is in my blog.

Mike, as I tell my husband, you can't just change the socks. You have to wash the feet. Or maybe changing the feet would be a better idea.

......... thanks Trish! I felt like I needed a change!! :D (I think I need to add curly hair to that luv gush! )



I've been busy... doin' stuff for my mom... doin' stuff for my girls... trying to fit in some time for me....

I was very surprised... this morning... I got up and did a devotional... I thought I'd journal my thoughts... but instead, Jesus gave me a devotional of my own to write... He makes me laugh! :D

Life is never what we expect it to be.... can I get an Amen?


I'm trying not to have a migraine today... the pain started as I was getting ready for work.... I took some meds... but it's still grinding in my head.


I hope it doesn't get worse... it has the potential to get worse because it's making my tummy sick. Dumb thing!


My boss cracks me up.... he walks in my office to tell me something.... and then walks back out with a blank look on his face.... lol!!

That's what happens after 40!!!
