I remember the song that Dr. Demento used to play, Space Invaders. Weird Al had a parody on video games too, but it was never released "Pac Man" to the Beatles "Tax Man".

2cor517, you know those orderlies, can you please get one to order my hair not frizz up? And have you got any fruit in here please?, if I bounce off that wall will it get me to the coffee bar quicker? Have you got ice fruit smoothies in the coffee bar? I know I don't want much but coffee makes my heart go too quick, so I only have one in the morning usually. Then I don't bounce as much. How about balls, got any rubber balls to play with, they always lively up the place!

How about painting it really colourful, like with flowers and trees and birds? That always feels homely, and why don't you put some flicks on the wall through a projector, for the people who can't read, and you could have a games room where people can play games. Games might be dangerous, but could get like rubber games, they wouldn't be dangerous! And with rubber balls, you can play many games and even if they hit you in the head they don't hurt and they are fun to play and very interactive. Just some suggestions, may lively the place up a little.

Tank battle sounds good, is that a tank filled with water where you go in and spar and grapple under water? Woulda thought you young people already got some action happening!

Ooo Ooo Ooo... by the way, I get to do a song in sign language at my church Sunday night. YAY! I'm looking forward to it! So, pray for me, please. I'll be signing "Let My Words Be Few" by Phillips, Craig, and Dean. It's a beatiful song. So, if you see me over in the corner making hand motions... it's just me practicing!

I've always wanted to learn sign language. I find it interesting. I believe that the local variant is somewhat different, but I find the whole concept ingenious.

I love sign language. It's so fun. It's interesting, and it's a wonderful second language to learn. But the colleges and school won't accept it as a second language. That's just not fair.

Anywho... this pool is nice and warm! (And not by me) Woo hoo! I'm going under! *GASPS*

Sure!

Here's the lyrics for any who doesn't know...

You are God in Heaven, and here am I on earth,
So I'll let my words be few.
Jesus I am so in love with You.

And I'll stand in awe of You, Jesus.
Yes, I'll stand in awe of You.
And I'll let my words be few.
Jesus I am so in love with You.

The simplest of all love songs,
I want to bring to You, yeah
So, I'll let my words be few,
Jesus I am so in love with You.

And I'll stand in awe of You, Jesus.
Yes, I'll stand in awe of You.
And I'll let my words be few.
Jesus I am so in love with You.

You are God in Heaven, and here am I on earth,
So I'll let my words be few.
Jesus I am so in love with You.

And I'll stand in awe of You, Jesus.
Yes, I'll stand in awe of You.
And I'll let my words be few.
Jesus I am so in love with You.

(Repeat chorus)

Hmmmmm I gotta headache gott any pain killers or else I'll just have to be pro-active and kill the pain myself, got any laws against that? Don't like to be totally disregarded, even if it is with scripture, that is downright rude!

Sure. *Calls over orderly with a big hair brush*

quote:

And have you got any fruit in here please?

We have lots of fruit and veggies at our snack bar. Just look under the "healthy selections" menu. Try the fruit salad. It is made fresh daily!

quote:

if I bounce off that wall will it get me to the coffee bar quicker?

We generally don't encourage bouncing in the rubber room, but we do allow it from time to time. Just be sure to stay away from small children and anything you could get hurt on when bouncing. Also there is no bouncing near the pool. Sorry.

quote:

Have you got ice fruit smoothies in the coffee bar?

No we have coffee at the coffee bar. We do have smoothies at the juice bar though. Just look next to the "healthy selections" menu.

quote:

I know I don't want much but coffee makes my heart go too quick, so I only have one in the morning usually. Then I don't bounce as much.

We do have decaf coffee available if you want. The rubber room also has a 24/7 pharmacy that can hand out medicine or mix it in you coffee to slow you heart. But you will need a prescription first.

quote:

How about balls, got any rubber balls to play with, they always lively up the place!

But of course! No rubber room would be complete without lots and lots of balls in all shapes and sizes. Big, little red, blue, green, rubber, baseball, soccor, football, tennis, basketball and more. (We don't have bowling balls yet but we will be adding a bowling alley soon as well.)

quote:

How about painting it really colourful, like with flowers and trees and birds? That always feels homely

Sounds like a good idea. I will have to find someone to paint a mural or two.

quote:

and why don't you put some flicks on the wall through a projector, for the people who can't read

I can't afford to put in a theater right now but I am plainning on installing an IMAX theater in the future.

quote:

and you could have a games room where people can play games.

We do have indoor gyms with lots of indoor sports but we are never going to open any kind of casino style gaming in the rubber room... not to mention the local town won't grant a license.

Interesting.... I have a big lot in the back. Maybe I can get some tanks and fix lasers to them and have a laser tag style tank game. Now I only need to find a place to buy and modify a 100 million dollar Abrams Tank.... hmmmmm.

(Cassie, that is so cool about the sign language thing. I wanted to learn sign language as well. That is really cool! )

Well 2cor517 thanks for your hospitality, when I can think of something else to bring I will, otherwise I am busy with my grandchildren, they want to watch the wiggles, on my lap top. It's good to let my hair hang down some times, I have to be grown up now but my insides don't grow up and I like it that way, so it is good to play wildly when I can Thanks for having me and I hope I didn't cause any animosity. See ya around . Thanks for the brush ,truly though the brush doesn't stop the frizz, I was hoping someone could say "hair, be non frizzed and just curly" and the hair would have to obey the authority . I guess I am a little peculiar!

This is a "frizz free zone" Giulia.

Yeah, I wish just saying that would work on my little girl. She uses more styling product than most people can believe...I'm sure you understand though. Oh to have pretty curly hair! The grass is always greener I suppose.

LOL. That reminded me of a joke I once heard. A woman goes into a place to get her hair done and hands the hairstylist a photo of a beautiful woman with beautiful hair. She then tell the hair stylist that she wants her to make her look like that. The hairstylist stares blankly at the woman for a few moments and then walks away.

"Where are you going?" asks the woman who is there to get her hair cut. "Are you going to get your scissors and comb?"

"No", replies the hairstylist, "I am going to her my wand."

All that floating around in the pool on that whale.

I hope you feel better Weird. I can't stand having the flu. I hope it is just a little cold instead and you feel better in a couple hours.

Hey, Cassie, I know how you feel, I'm sick to. I've been losing everything I eat or drink since 1:30am this morning.

Oh no...I feel so bad for you guys who are sick. I just talked to my mother-in-law who is also very sick. She asked me three times to pray for her in our five minute conversation.

I just prayed for all three of you.
