I heard from Bo again tonight. Mo has caught the shingles, and so will be in the hospital until she is no longer contagious. Bo says other than that she si doing pretty good. She has no pain from the shingles, and that is very unusual, so they are just praising God for that blessing.
She has had all staples removed -- 10 of them -- all IVs discontinued, and is in very good spirits. Also, she's found a couple of Christian nurses and is enjoying talking about the Lord. She's looking forward to coming home.

Awwwwww, poor Mo. I've heard shingles is not very nice.
Still, I hope she gets better soon and is able to come home before too long.

Yes, I click on the Next Unread Subscription link when reading forums. It always brings up the most recent posting in your subs first!

I haven't asked Mo if it's okay to tell you, but I don't think she'd mind. She's in a great deal of pain because of her shingles. The pain is constant, day and night, and nothing is really helping her feel better. Please pray for her.

Hi MO, are you feeling any better? My dad has shingles and I've heard from him how much they hurt. He says stress adds to the pain and a break out too. I'm real sorry you are suffering and pray you'll feel better soon.
That's is awesome about witnessing in the hospital and finding believers. When the opportunity comes up to share about the Lord and someone is receptive I have found the witnessing encourages my own faith and gives a kind of joy you can't find from anything else.
I remember you from when I used to post in the early 2000's on the Daily Chat Thread. Since I've come back to crosswalk I post mostly on the daily chat thread but it is not nearly as active as it was in 2001.

Hi Vinny, I think that the nature of starting the Personally For You threads changed the landscape of things, thus people now having their own little corners, whereas people used to just post about their lives in the Daily Chat Thread instead.
